I (Toree) went to Cancun on a trip for fun. Got the idea (a calling) to help the dogs there. So I went back, found Karin who had been rescuing street dogs for years (her full-time job). We started a 501c3, are working to create a network of helpers. Right now, Karin and I fund everything but we are working on fundraising so that we can do more.

We have a comprehensive adoption application. We ask that people follow us on Facebook. We require a video of the home/yard. We interview via phone. We meet them in person when they come for the dog. There is an adoption fee of $400 to help cover our costs, which are actually more than double that.
