M & D Rescue Duo will serve as a compassionate advocate for animals and instill in our community that all living beings have a right to be treated with respect. We have observed a need in our community to assist, rescue, foster, provide medical care and love for unwanted, homeless, and neglected animals.

Our organization will work to reduce the population of homeless/unwanted animals by sharing with our members, adopters, and the community responsible pet owner skills, proper animal health and safety related information, and quality of life care, that will result in lowering the number of strays in animal shelters and in the community. We will promote, support and provide spay/neuter assistance to prevent unwanted pregnancies, and provide community services which may help keep a companion animal with the family they love.

Adoption fees vary per dog/cat and are based on the age, breed, and medical/behavioral conditions of the dog or cat, fees start at $100.00. All potential adopters must complete an application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit will be required. Approved adopters will execute a contract and pay the adoption fee before taking their new family member home.
