We are committed to improve the life of all dogs in our area. We believe that it is our responsibility to provide and facilitate the humane treatment of these most loyal & precious of God's creatures by providing temporary shelter, necessary medical treatment, and/or foster homes for stray or abandoned animals. We desire to build a strong base of foster families & volunteers who will help rescue, foster and care for the dogs we take in. We are further committed to help find suitable forever families for the animals in the various animal control and shelter systems in our area. We are dedicated to educating the public about responsible pet ownership & the importance of spay/neuter. We will encourage our community leaders to prosecute all cases of animal cruelty/neglect, and to enforce all state and local laws related to the proper care of animals. Based on Proverbs 31:8, we are committed to “Speak up for those who can’t speak for themselves” and be the voice of these most precious & loyal of God's creatures!

Adoption Application, due diligence investigation, applicant must have good vet history, fence or other enclosed area, if apartment must have designated pet area and landlord approval, must be good fit with family and other pets, once approved by MLD, Adoption Contract, Adopter agrees to allow dog to live indoors, keep utd on all vet visits, vaccines and heartworm prev or treatments, agree to contact MLD anytime rest of dogs life if can no longer keep pet, no transfer without prior written consent of MLD, fees adult adopt $150, puppy (under 6 mos) $175, Sr dog (over 7 yrs) $100, discount military or over 65: 20%.
