New Leash On Life Rescue has two main purposes. First, to pull dogs from the City of Troy and community dog pounds and help the stray population in Lincoln County, MO. Secondly, community service when funds are available. Helping pet owners to be able to keep their pets instead of surrendering them to a rescue or shelter is dear to our hearts. We would like to break the cycle of the number of pets that are too easily given up on.

Our adoption fee is $225 for puppies, range of $125-$225 for dogs and $125 for cats and kittens. All of our pets will be examined by a licensed veterinarian, spayed or neutered, dewormed, fully vaccinated, current on flea/tick preventive and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heart worms, treated if necessary and placed on a preventative. Cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. We are dedicated to finding the best home for the pet and assisting the adopter to find a pet that best fits their lifestyle. We are committed to placing the pet in their forever home. Potential adopter will fill out the adoption application, home visits will be performed as well as veterinarian and reference checks will be conducted. We reserve the right to approve or deny any application based on the information obtained through the adoption process. It's our goal to try and make every adoption a pleasurable experience with a happy ending for both owner and pet.
