New Leash on Life rescues dogs from area shelters and pairs them with individuals experiencing incarceration. The dogs live with and are trained by these individuals for 3 months before adoption. Our program utilizes the human animal bond to transform the lives of our dogs and participants.

Adoptions are generally $200, sometimes the fee is waived for special adoptions. All dogs are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, prior to adoption. Home visits are required, prior to finalizing adoptions, as well as landlord approval, if applicable.
