Since 1916, the RVSPCA has been the lead advocate for the homeless and unwanted animals in our area. We are a limited admission-no kill facility with the majority of animals available for adoption accepted from the municipal pound. We also provide pet assisted therapy, humane education and are partnering with the Local Office on Agine to provide pet food to recipients on Meals on Wheels, and to Manna Ministeries, operator of a food pantry for the working poor. In all, 18,000 pounds of pet food is provided in a year's time to feed the area's hungry pets.

Adoption contract and Meet Your Match Survey (dogs only), Adoption counseling prior to approval. Fees= $65 cats over 6 months, $85 kittens under 6 months; $85 dogs over 6 months, $110 puppies under 6 months. All animals are temperament tested, spayed/neutered, vaccinated (including rabies) and microchipped.
