We aim to rescue, rehab and rehome otherwise discared mill and high kill shelter dogs with an affinity for Italian Greyhounds and other small breeds. Our efforts include adoption programs as well as advocacy events to raise awareness of the truth behind mill dogs. We are trying to be the voice for the voiceless and doing our best, saving one dog at a time.
Saving one dog won't change the world, but it will change the world for that one dog.
We seek out otherwise discarded dogs from high rate kill shelters and mills, vet them (spay/neuter and microchip if needed, up to date on shots, any other needs), rehab them so they are accustom to good food/people/toys/life as a dog, identify adopters that would be a good fit; do a reference check, home visit and if all goes well adopt them out. Fees vary depending on the dogs age and any special needs.
If the adopter is no longer able to care for the dog (old age, health issue, moved, loss of job, etc), they are required to give them back to the rescue.
