STOP is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to a short-term goal of fostering animals and the long term goal is to build and staff a private animal shelter in the greater Tehachapi area.

STOP dogs are in private foster homes and are taken to bi-monthly adoption days. An application and contract are required and the adoption fee is $165 for most dogs, $200 for purebred dogs.
