Save the Strays has been rescuing abandoned and unwanted dogs since 2003. Our goal is to find them new homes where they will be treated as cherished family members. Dogs that aren’t adoptable remain with us for as long as they live.

We are an all-volunteer, no-kill rescue incorporated as a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and public charity. All donations to our rescue are tax-deductible and are used solely to pay for our dogs’ care.

Potential adopters must complete an application, provide references and be interviewed. If approved, they must sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee, which is refundable if a dog is returned to us within two weeks of the adoption date.
