As a rescue, Second Chance Rescue is dedicated to the humane and socially responsible treatment of animals. We recognized Mexico as a specific area of interest where Second Chance Rescue could have a significant impact. Mexico has a large stray animal problem and many of them are put down, used for fighting or even used for food. As a rescue organization, we rescue these dogs and cats and provide them the care they need until they can be happily adopted by loving owners in the states. We do not just assist Mexico but the greater Southern California region as well.

Interested parties are screened through an application process. Meet and greets are set up to approved applicants and a home check is done prior to adoption as the last step.
