Every day animals with treatable medical and behavioral conditions are euthanized. SEN Foundation Animal Rescue is a volunteer-run non-profit rescue dedicated to saving the lives of abused, injured, sick, and abandoned animals.
We passionately believe that people help animals and that animals help people through trust, unconditional love, and respect. We believe that animals from shelters and animals with special needs also deserve a chance. Sharing this philosophy with others, we inspire and teach locally and internationally, the importance of the animal-human bond, responsible and humane treatment of animals, adoption of animals from shelters, and animals with special needs.

Our animals are fostered with our volunteers at Foster Homes in the Bay Area, hence theyâre getting a lot of individual attention and we know their personalities well. Each animal is different, having its own unique personality and needs. We do our best effort to match each animal with the right home. Sometimes, as wonderful a home as you may have, a particular animal may not be a good match for your situation. One, who is shy and afraid of noises, may not be a good match for a busy household. One, who is very social, will not be a good match for a busy professional spending most of their time at work. A home inspection may be required prior to finalizing an adoption.
