My husband and I are a small home rescue. We average taking in one dog every 4 months. We take in dogs from high kill shelters. We work primarily with Beagles and hounds. We often take in special needs dogs and senior dogs. We insure all dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered prior to adoption along with being on current Heartworm and flea prevention. Our adoption contract includes the agreement if they cannot keep the dog for any reason, the dog needs to be returned to us. The contract also includes the need for the adopter to give us updates on the dog.
