Description

Saint Francis SPCA is a No-Kill, not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization that was founded August 1975. The shelter is located one mile north of the Illinois-Wisconsin border in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Saint Francis SPCA provides high quality care and shelter for as many as 100 homeless dogs, 100+ homeless cats, and some hooved animals. The birdhouse, with pond, provides shelter for a variety of wild and domestic fowl.

We resolve to protect, rehabilitate, and provide new and good lives for those who look and feel the worst. It is they who need us the most, who society has hurt the most, and to whom we owe the most.Saint Francis SPCA believes that no animal should be killed because it costs too much money or it is too much trouble to fix a broken leg or a broken spirit. Saint Francis SPCA believes that death is not the only escape for the abused, the sick, the scared, the abandoned, the starved, and the ugly.
