Description

The Surrey Animal Resource Centre is the animal control facility for the City of Surrey which is the 2nd largest city in BC and the 12th largest city in Canada with a population of over 500,000. The centre helps animals and humans in our community through licensing, reuniting animals with their owner, and adopting out those who do not have an owner.

We want to see all of our homeless animals adopted to folks who've thought long and hard about what kind of animal is right for their situation, and who've committed to providing: Good nutrition, Regular veterinary care, and Mental and physical stimulation appropriate to the individual animal.

Adoption Process

Adoption process - meet the animals, see an animal they are interested in, they can apply. Once they apply a staff member goes over the application with the applicant - reviewing to see if it looks like it is a match. We do try to have all family member meet before adoption (when possible). If it looks like a match we move forward with the adoption. Fees are Cats ($108 to $241.75) Dogs ($108 to $375.50), Small Animals, Birds ($10 to $51.50)
