The Sunshine Fund Cat Rescue honors the memory of a special foster kitty named Sunshine. Money raised will be used to foster, vaccinate, spay/neuter, microchip and find forever homes for homeless cats and kittens in the Houston area. The rescue also takes on many medical cases that other rescues decline. We also use funds to help other cat owners who cannot afford certain care for their cats. We are here to make a difference in the lives of animals and people alike by pairing up kitties to people creating a long-lasting friendship between the two.

Potential adopters complete a detailed adoption application. We then call and discuss their responses and ask any further questions. Once approved, the contract is sent and signed. Medical records are release and the animal is transferred to new owner.
