Twin Cities Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue focusing on rescuing homeless, abandoned, and abused dogs, cats, and small animals that are overlooked by adopters and even other rescues. These animals are often sick, older or special needs. All of our animals are placed in foster homes for rehabilitation and vetting prior to adoption.
The adoption process varies depending on the type of animal being adopted. For all animals, the first step is to complete an adoption application. The application is then reviewed and if it is deemed a good fit for the animal, it is approved and a meet and greet is arranged. Cats and small animals may be adopted at the time of the meet and greet after an adoption agreement is complete and the adoption fee is paid. Home visits are completed after the meet and greet for dogs. Requirements for each adoption vary depending on the needs of the individual animals, as we are hoping to make the best and most permanent placement possible. Fees vary depending on the animal being adopted.
