Wishbone Pet Rescue Alliance is a fully incorporated nonprofit organization which provides volunteer support to the Allegan County Animal Shelter to facilitate the adoption, fostering, and medical care, of animals which come through the facility.

Wishbone also provide community services through the Wishbone Pet Food Pantry for families in need, and temporary fostering for pets of women entering Sylvia's Place, a local shelter for domestic abuse.
