We are a small group of volunteers who see a need for change. Dogs are suffering due to overpopulation, neglect, abuse and homelessness. We know when like minded individuals come together with a mission, big things can happen!
We believe every dog entering into our foster care program deserves the best chance to thrive and find their place within this world.
CORE VALUES
Limit intake for focused foster care
Support foster families
Provide Veterinary care for every dog
Focus on assisting dogs within our local shelters
Spay/Neuter to decrease overpopulation
Seek positive best practices within the rescue community
Requirements: All dogs residing within the home must be SPAY/NEUTERED, CURRENT ON VACCINES, ON HEART WORM PREVENTION, unless against Veterinary advisement. All dogs must live indoors. Fencing is not a requirement, however strongly encouraged
Process: Applicant submits application. Apps are reviewed and if we feel it is a good match, we reach out to the applicant's vet to verify animals in the home are up to date on vaccinations and heartworm preventative. If everything checks out, we reach out to the applicant to schedule a meet & greet. We take the dog to the applicant's home to ensure the home is safe and that the information on the application is accurate. We introduce the dog to other pets in the home and if we feel it is a good fit and the applicant agrees, we complete a contract for the adoption. We offer trials at our discretion. The adoption fee varies per dog and is listed on the dog's adoption profile.
All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines, given antiparasitics and on age appropriate preventatives at the time of adoption. All medical records are provided to the adopter after the contract is signed.
