I have been in rescue for over 30 years. I have worked with and through other non profits previously but decided to found and open my own, with all of the contacts I have made through the years.

NorCal Bully Breed Rescue (NBBR) is an all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to helping needy animals in our community.  While our focus is on "bully breeds," we don't discriminate and will very often help dogs of any breed, provided we have a foster home available.  We take in dogs from local shelters with a focus on those with medical challenges and those whose behavior is declining due to the stress of the shelter environment.  These are the dogs most often overlooked and in need of the most help. NBBR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, our tax ID # is 46-3665141. Your donations are fully tax deductible and fund our operations and help pay our vet expenses. NBBR is dedicated to reducing the number of homeless pets through the spaying/neutering of all our our rescued dogs and through education on the importance of spaying/neutering all animals. We provide information on low cost or no cost spay/neuter clinics in our surrounding areas. Each dog that comes to us has been temperament tested, updated on shots, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Many of our dogs have also been treated for various medical conditions including mange, heart worms, broken bones, neurological issues, and many others. One of our dogs can take anywhere from one month to one year to get ready for adoption and the cost for the dogs we take on can range from $100 to several thousand dollars. We take on dogs from shelters that are set to be euthanized for various reasons, including simply that they've been there too long, or they have a medical condition that precludes them from adoption to the public, making them "rescue only." This means only a rescue can pull them from the shelter, but also leaves us to be responsible for any costs to to be increased by said rescue dog. We also take on strays and incur the cost of having them vaccinated, spayed, neutered and microchipped. We will help dogs who owners can no longer provide care by networking their dog, provided the owner can continue to house the dog. We insure a safe house for all of the dogs that we take on and provide all needed supplies for the foster homes that care for them until they are to be adopted. We also insure that they never end up in a shelter, running the risk of being euthanized due to lack of space or due to becoming "aggressive" cause by the stress of being in a shelter environment.

Founded in 2021, Almost Home Cat Rescue MKE is unlike most rescues in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. We are a cage-free/free roam facility that allows visitors to interact with our adoptable kitties prior to adopting. Our mission is to create a safe haven for all cats in our care until their forever home is found; as well as to be a resource to the community, for its cats, and the people who love them.

Kitten Caboodle, Inc., a nonprofit organization, is located in Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, and serves community neighborhoods by rescuing kittens and friendly stray cats with the intent to adopt into loving forever homes. Through its community outreach, Metro East TNR and Rescue focuses on performing TNR (trap-neuter-return) on the feral cat population and specializes in cat/kitten rescue consisting of fostering, domesticating, and/or wellness assessments and treatments, which benefit stray/community males and females, and females expecting and/or having kittens. Our team of gracious volunteers work together to locate, trap, assess, foster, spay/neuter, treat, domesticate kittens and semi friendly cats. Our group also offers knowledge and advice on how to TNR, foster, or hep others to do the same.

H.E.A.R.T. Rescue is a local nonprofit organization based in Virginia's Blue Ridge. We provide specialized care in stray feline kittens and feline neonates, pet adoption services, and education to public on importance of TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return).

Our group started in 2019 because our founding member, Willadean Jackson, was upset when she saw the terrible living conditions at the Macon City Shelter (basically a dog pound). She reached out to others on Facebook and we created a non-profit to assist animals in Macon County Missouri (in the small town shelters and in the very rural areas). Since then, we have been helping animals in neighboring Shelby County as well because there's no humane society in our two counties. We are basically in "no man's land" when it comes to getting assistance for animals in need. Our goal at first was to build a shelter, but we could see that would cost more money than we fundraise. In the past 5 years we have grown greatly in numbers, numbers of members and animals saved. We, like most rescues, we are overwhelmed by the number of emails, messages, and calls we get from people needing our services. Now our main goal is to provide spay/neuter services for our community and try to slow down the pet population. We have been blessed to have several large donations to help provide free spay/neuter surgeries. We have also worked with the city of Macon to improve the conditions of the shelter. Now it's a much better place for a dog to find itself than it was years ago. It hasn't been easy getting to where we are now. We have had members come and go, but right now we have a great group of people that truly go out of their way to help the animals in our area.

We are a 501(c)(3) rescue based in Northern Virginia. We have been rescuing animals since our opening in 2002. We primarily rescue cats and kittens. We also provide TNR for cats. Rescuing animals is our passion!

We rescue mostly small senior and/or special needs dogs. These are dogs that are most turned into shelters or left behind when family members pass away or can no longer care for them. I am 72 and have had dogs most of my life. I started rescuing after I retired from the Coast Guard when I saw such a great need for rescues due to high euthanasia rates in our area.

Cross Your Paws Rescue is a compassionate organization dedicated to finding loving homes for abandoned and neglected animals. We rescue pets in need, provide them with medical care, and nurture them in a safe environment until they are ready for adoption. Our mission is to promote responsible pet ownership and advocate for animal welfare, spreading awareness about the importance of adopting rather than shopping for pets. We believe every animal deserves a second chance at happiness and aim to create a community where love and compassion for all beings thrive. Through our efforts, we hope to reduce the number of homeless pets and inspire others to join us in our mission.

SNIP Collier's main mission is to end the suffering and neglect of dogs and cats in our community, due to the pet overpopulation crisis, through affordable spay and neuter, vaccines, and preventative care; and through public awareness, education, and outreach. Our main focus is spay/neuter and helping animals and their owners in the lower income areas in our county, like Immokalee, FL.

We specialize in adult dogs with behavioral issues to rehabilitate them into working dogs. We also rescue pregnant moms and puppies to save them from euthanasia.

ARC works as a compassionate advocate for community cats by promoting Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) of outdoor cats to solve the crisis of over-population at source; by fostering and placing adoptable cats/kittens in good homes; by relocating abandoned outdoor cats to farms, ranches and suitable backyards; and by contributing to a network to get the word out when pets are missing or found. ARC is an all-foster based organization with volunteers who are passionate about our adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and helpline programs. Since 2004, we have worked to educate and assist in all aspects of animal rescue.

I'm Brittany the president of CRR. I have worked in vets offices and with rescues and I always wanted to help special needs and unwanted animals.

Friends of Alley Cats is working to better the welfare of the Cats/Kittens in Rhea County, TN. We provide a TNR program to decrease the number of feral cats that are breeding and adding to the overwhelming stay/feral communities. These cats will be safely trapped, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and returned to their trapping location to live out a healthier life. We also rescue cats in need of homes from a multitude of situations and provide adoption opportunities to cats ready to have a furrever home.
