The success of our organization is rooted in our dedicated group of volunteers both local and abroad. We have partnered with like-minded individuals in countries including but not limited to the Middle East, Bahrain, India, Turkey, Mexico and Vietnam to help change the lives of some of the world’s most in-need animals. As we do not have a physical location, we depend on the support of the local community in the form of foster homes and potential adopters. According to the World Health Organization, there are more than 200 million stray dogs worldwide (as of 2017). The lives of these street dogs is particularly short and difficult in countries with limited resources dedicated to animal welfare. This is where we come in. Our partners abroad work tirelessly to take in stray dogs who are most in need of medical care. They (and you) are their best chance for survival. Generally, the process begins with the dogs being rescued off of the streets, restored to health and rehabilitated by these compassionate individuals. Loved at Last Dog Rescue is a society of dog loving volunteers who are committed to assisting in the rehoming of local dogs and rescuing dogs (often disabled) from high kill countries around the world. LALDR does not profit from any adoption fees. All donations to Loved at Last Dog Rescue are used to cover the cost of veterinary care, special equipment such as prosthetics and wheelchairs and to assist in the transportation of the dogs. The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be: a) To assist owners who are no longer able to care for their dog in re-homing the dog. b) To educate people about the importance of adopting, not buying, a dog. To educate people about street dogs and abused dogs and to provide a network of support to dog owners. c) To save dogs in need and at risk whenever possible, especially in situations where there is a potential for unnecessary euthanasia. d) To educate people about spaying and neutering, as well as the identification and registration, of domestic pets. The Potter League is the animal shelter of Newport County, Rhode Island, where we promote the humane treatment of all animals, while providing shelter and care for lost or unwanted companion animals. We shelter unaccompanied companion animals and place them in safe and healthy homes. We educate the community to embrace humane principals and provide the best care for their pets. We provide community support programs which help all pet owners provide better lives for their pets. We expand access to essential veterinary care for companion animals

I have been a volunteer in dog rescue for over 25 years. Originally, in the 90s, I picked up street dogs, got medical care, found their homes or re-homed them. Now I focus on local owner surrenders that are advertised free or cheap on Craigslist or Facebook. Other local rescues will not accept these dogs and they have a very low chance of finding a safe forever home. Most of them are either passed from home to home with no vet care and increasing behavior issues from neglect or abuse, or used in fighting rings or otherwise by sick people. I do it out of love and concern for dogs. I have also volunteered in the lost and found animal world and moderated several FB L & F pages and was on TV to talk about the topic. I have helped many people find their lost dogs.

We are a working breed dog rescue run by professional dog trainers. Trust someone with experience and extensive canine knowledge to match you with your perfect pup! Working breeds have not been breed to be pets. Often times these dogs end up in the shelter because they have not been given a job to do as was intended for their creation. We are here to save dogs who have been subject to this situation and educate dog lovers on how to live with, handle, and train these magnificent creatures! We find dogs that have been flagged for euthanasia in the Southern California high kill shelters and foster them for 1-2 months. During this time we train these dogs and work on any behavioral issues they may present with as well as completing an advanced obedience program through Shades Of Blu Dog Training. (IG: @shadesofbludogtraining) The dogs are available for adoption after completion of a training program and a careful selection of the right home for the dog. We also offer comprehensive programs where we will find you your perfect dog based on your preferences and lifestyle, train this dog for you, and then give you the tools you need to maintain a happy life with your new fur baby. As an adopter through either service we offer comprehensive guidelines and suggestions and provide you with all the information and expertise you will need to continue life with your new family member. All of our dogs go to their forever homes with training, up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, with an active pet insurance account through nationwide pet insurance, comprehensive veterinary testing to include heartworm testing, fecal testing, and blood work. Additional DNA testing is available upon request.

Since the creation of Florida Poodle Rescue in 1994, we have found homes for over 9,500 Poodles, Standards, Miniatures, Toys, and Poodle-wannabes who have been abandoned, abused, neglected, unwanted, or who simply lost their home due to the death of their human parent. When they come to us, all are examined by a veterinarian and care is given as needed, spaying/neutering, vaccines, dental procedures, preventative medications, and microchips. Florida Poodle Rescue has also provided many of our Poodles with treatment for active cases of heartworm and major surgeries such as facial reconstruction, hip surgery, cataract sugeries, and broken bone repairs. All are placed in foster homes that provide love and patience to help them adjust before being adopted. A rescued Poodle's stay in foster care varies from several days to several months, depending on their condition when they arrived at Florida Poodle Rescue. These rescued dogs go on to lead joyful lives as cherished companions to loving human parents. The joy and satisfaction of rescuing a Poodle and being a part of their transformation cannot be described in words.

Petey and Furends is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 84-4819015) no-kill animal rescue organization that is dedicated to reducing instances of neglect, abuse, and homelessness in companion animals. To do this, we use research- and evidence-based practices to facilitate a matchmaking experience that will increase the rate of successful adoptions. All members of Petey and Furends are volunteers who dedicate their time and compassion to the animals.

We are a non-profit animal shelter that promotes animal adoption and spay/neuter. We work with other rescues to hep more animals find loving homes.

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs in desperate need while spreading public awareness against animal cruelty and overpopulation. Everyday we save vulnerable dogs from neglect, abuse, and euthanasia. We provide temporary safe foster homes and medical/emergency treatment to prepare these loving animals for their forever home. (This means we do not have a physical shelter location, and all of our dogs are in loving foster homes throughout the city.) Following a thorough – but hassle free – adoption process, we connect our dogs with loving, responsible, and committed permanent homes. Every dog is fully vetted and altered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated prior to finalization of adoption.Our commitment to our dogs goes beyond the adoption process, as we stress the importance of responsible pet ownership, and we educate our fosters, adopters, and community on what they can do to help dogs in need.

It is the mission of Finally Home Animal Rescue, Inc. to provide homes and vet care to homeless, unwanted and/or neglected animals to prepare them for adoption into loving forever homes where they will become part of a family.

Started as a feral cat TNR organization but turned into a cat rescue due to high number of cats that were friendly and needed homes. Has been a 501c for 4 years but a rescue organization for 20 years. Started accepting under 40 pound dogs due to high number of dogs needing suitable homes. We help a lot of the homeless and low income with animal surrender due to no truly low cost spay/neuter clinics in the area.

I am the founder and President of Rescue Tails Animal Welfare. I pull the dogs, get the vetted, adopted and run the show. I do it because I have a passion for animals and have grown up around rescue animals in need.

We are a small rescue that takes in, fosters and finds forever homes for medium and large dogs. We work primarily (but not exclusively) with hunting dogs such as Pointers and "bully" breeds such as American Staffordshire Terriers.

We are a NO-KILL cat rescue organization that provides help to homeless cats, kittens, sick ones, neglected, and special needs. We pull many cats from Orange County Animal Services in Orlando, Florida that are placed on the euthenasia list due to behavior or medical. We try and save as many from been killed at shelters, homeless, strays, ferals, neglected and unwanted ones and most important to give them a second chance in finding a loving home and family to love them. Our mission is to be there voice and to try to educate people on why is so important to spay and neuter.
