We are a small limited intake, no kill dog and cat shelter. The mission of the Humane Society of Tuolumne County (HSOTC) is to find homes for abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals, promote humane education, and maintain a clean and safe environment for homeless animals awaiting adoption.

We assist residents to TNR cat colonies in the area to reduce the extermination of homeless cats. We educate on the importance of and provide spay&neuter assistance. We accept accidental litters and family pets for rehoming to prevent them from being surrendered to high kill shelters. We pull from high kill shelters. All rescues are spayed or neutered, brought up to date on vaccines and given heartworm & flea preventatives. Many of our rescues are transported to no kill rescues in Vermont and NY who have high adoption demands. We do all this to prevent the neddless deaths of homeless pets in our area.

Our small group, located in Waco, TX, is comprised of volunteers. We work to save animals that have been abandoned and neglected before they are picked up by animal control officers (ACO) and/or taken to the local shelter. We are 100% foster based and can only take animals when foster homes are available. We are NOT a shelter, and do not have a facility. We educate on the need for spay and neutering, and provide options for those who need help. Working together with others in the community we are saving animals one at a time

Our rescue is comprised of loving volunteers who are dedicated to finding forever homes for IGs in need. We are part of IGRF (Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation). IGRF is the non-profit, 501c3 rescue branch of the Italian Greyhound Club of America (IGCA). IGRF is nationwide, and this is our Hawaii branch. Port City Cat Rescue is a non-profit cat rescue whose goal is to pull cats from high kill shelters and those homeless cats found on the streets, provide them with proper vet care and vaccinations, and adopt them to forever homes. We also spay and neuter all cats prior to adoption, except those too young (we provide a voucher for the adopters in that case)

We have three board members, myself, my husband, and my ex husband. I have been rescuing animals since I was a child. My parents were awesome. When I got older I would use my own money to get them up to date and fixed and then find them new homes.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets. We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are microchipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family.

Mission Statement Havanese Rescue Inc. (HRI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed for the charitable purposes of rescuing purebred Havanese and Havanese mixes which are homeless or soon-to-be-homeless, including those found in animal shelters or similar facilities and those relinquished by their owners. The dogs are provided with the attention, care and medical treatment necessary including spay/neutering. HRI also focuses on education of the public regarding puppy mills and responsible dog ownership including spay/neutering, training and humane care of Havanese and other pets.

We take in homeless pets and pull pets from local high kill shelter and re home. We pull pregnant females from being put down. I am the owner and love animals and saving lives

We rescue 11th hour dogs and rehab and adopt out. If unadaptable we place in homes with forever fosters. We are one of the few rescues who will take dogs with behavioral issues. We do it to fill the gap so more dogs can be rehomed.

We are part of the national IGCA Rescue program, rescuing Italian Greyhounds all over the country because we love the breed and see the need. Our branch covers New England but there are many reps all over the US.

Ambers animal outreach is founded by a teenager when she was 13 yr old. SHe focuses on rescuing dogs from kill shelters, from being unnecessarily euthanized. She also rescues unwanted, abused and neglected dogs and rehabs them to health and finds them loving forever families

Paw Patrol is a dedicated group of volunteers working to improve the quality of life for dogs living in our community. Paw Patrol is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run completely by volunteers. Our Mission To rescue and re-home neglected, abused, or otherwise unwanted dogs into loving homes. To provide shelter in the form of a lean-to or doghouse to outdoor dogs in an effort to keep them dry and warm. To provide outdoor dogs with alternatives to chaining in order to improve their quality of life. To promote the importance of spaying/neutering dogs and to offer this service to dogs in our community. To provide information to the public about the negative aspects of dog tethering. To assist owners with necessary resources to allow them to keep their dog happy, healthy, and out of the already over-crowded shelter system.

Best Friends Animal Society–New York works collaboratively with city shelters, local animal welfare organizations and individuals like you to save the lives of pets in shelters in New York City. As part of this work, Best Friends hosts adoption and fundraising events, and runs a lifesaving foster program in partnership with Animal Care Centers of New York. Together, we can Save Them All.
