Hospice Hearts is an all-volunteer, foster-based animal rescue based in Champaign-Urbana serving elderly cats and dogs whose owners are no longer able to care for them due to nursing home admission, serious illness, or death.

Country Roads Animal Rescue Society is a non profit 501c3 rescue organization dedicated to saving animals in need in Oklahoma. We seek to provide sanctuary for neglected, abandoned or stray animals while they are given the medical attention they need and the love they deserve. Upon being UTD on age appropriate shots, spayed or neutered and micro-chipped, our animals are up for adoption to approved homes.

For the Love of a Dog is a small group dedicated to helping displaced animals in need. Relying solely upon the generosity, caring and hard work of a few wonderful volunteers we are able to place our pets in foster care where they are loved as one of the family, while receiving any necessary medical care and training. We take in just a small number of animals at a time to insure that each of them gets the care and attention that they need while waiting for their forever family. This also gives us the opportunity to get to know the animal on much more personal level allowing us to better assess their needs and to match them with the right family. An animal will stay with us as long as is necessary to find those right people and many do need some “work”, too many animals are dumped in our shelters due to behavioral and health issues that can so easily be resolved with just some time and patience. These are mainly the animals that we focus on the “cast away’s” that at no fault of their need our help because someone did not want or did not have the means to put forth the effort in caring for their specific needs.

Friends of Rocky Mount Animals is an animal rescue dedicated to rescuing abused and abandoned animals and finding each animal a permanent, loving home. We promote responsible pet ownership by providing LOW COST SPAY & NEUTERING SERVICES to the community. Friends of Rocky Mount Animals is committed to educating the public on the necessity of Spay and Neutering which helps control the homeless pet population, the importance of regular pet vaccinations, microchiping and licensing your pet and educating your children to respect animals and by providing your pet fresh water, food and daily exercise.

All 4 Cats is a no-kill cat rescue and community outreach located in Wilmington, NC. We are an all-volunteer organization and our mission is saving and improving the lives of cats. Our primary focus is working with the community to rescue stray cats. We nurse the animals back to health, spay/neuter, socialize, and then we find them permanent and loving homes. When we are able, we also work with local animal shelters to rescue and re-home pets.

We are a small group dedicated to rescuing animals from high kill areas and placing them in loving homes. In our area (unlike the areas where our animals come from) there are plenty of loving families willing make these dogs a part of their family unit.

We take in many special needs and senior small dogs as well as healthy ones. We spare no expense on medical care and keep all dogs in a comfortable, home like environment until adopted

We believe that all animals deserve a 2nd chance at a warm loving home, or for some, even their 1st chance, what I like to call "the luckiest day of their lives!" Many of these animals would never have a chance of surviving if not for rescues. It is our goal to try to minimize feral colonies as well as the stray overpopulation by utilizing a method called TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return as well as what we call TNA (Trap, Neuter, Assess). This is a wonderful resource for helping cats in your neighborhood as well as feral colony management. We are not a traditional shelter, so we don't have a location or building for our rescues. All of our rescues are fostered in loving homes to help them adjust to a normal home life, not in cages. They are handled daily and given lots of love and companionship. Generally we like to put animals in foster homes with other pets and children to try to ensure they are comfortable in many environments/homes. We rescue many animals from the Marlton, Cherry Hill, Delran and many areas in South Jersey, primarily. As of November 2013, we are a New Jersey-based state certified non-profit, as well as a Federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are no-kill animal rescue that relies on our wonderful foster parents to keep our animals safe and comfortable.

For the Love of Birds is exclusively for charitable and educational purposes of companion birds through rescue, care and placement. Parrots can live long lives, 20 to 80 years, and because of this and by virtue of not being a domesticated animal, they will end up living in multiple homes for various reasons; unfulfilled expectations, death, moving, loss of job, life changes, etc of caregivers. It is our mission to help as many birds as we can and find a loving and educated next home in New Jersey and surrounding areas. The founders of For The Love of Birds are Caryn Cullen, Joanne Freel, Patty Deitsch and Kerrie Peterson. Combined, we have over 30 years involved in parrot rescue. We are a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit animal rescue operating in the State of New Jersey. We possess a permit from the State of New Jersey, Division of Fish & Wildlife for Exotic and Non-Game Wildlife Species Possession, Pet Shop - Retail Sales.

We rescue homeless or soon to be homeless GSDs and find loving families for them.

Dogs and horses are our biggest focus, however. We are a foster based rescue, meaning we have no actual shelter location and we are solely volunteer operated. Our niche with dogs is mainly with large and giant breed dogs, including bully breeds, mastiffs, and danes, etc. We routinely pull dogs from ACCT Philly, as well as numerous other high kill shelters. NARPS frequently takes on extreme medical cases which very few other organizations would even consider. We rescue horses from slaughter auctions and countless other venues. NARPS prides itself in the difference it makes for so many lives. Big or small...hooves or paws...we rescue them all!!

Jeanne Lou and Dot Terry have been rescuing dogs for several years. We decided to form a non-profit rescue so that we could fundraise to support our mission. Dot's mission is to provide a permanent home at Dot's Old Dogs Home for large-breed senior dogs whose owners have died or gone into a nursing home. These dogs do not do well in shelters, and will not get adopted. At our sanctuary, these dogs have a promise of a forever home, but are also promoted for adoption because there's nothing better than your very own human. Jeanne Lou's mission is to rescue chained/penned and yard-sale dogs. A lot of these dogs tend to be the smaller breeds, thus the name, Little Big Dog, because we rescue the little ones and the big ones. Jeanne Lou's rescues are placed in foster homes, vetted, s/n'd, socialized, and offered for adoption.

CARE was created about 2 1/2 years ago and we continue to grow. We are an animal rescue and our goal is to save as many lives as possible, while educating the public on the importance of spay/neuter/vaccinations and proper care for animals. We accept strays, owner surrenders and shelter dogs. We take on many medical cases, that some won't. We believe that every animal deserves a chance to live a full, happy life with a loving family and we do our best to make that happen.

Tailchaser Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill, animal rescue organization based out of the Bay Area, CA, dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs (and sometimes more) from shelters where they are in danger.
