21 Year old Sheltie Rescue Organization. We rescue Shelties and some Sheltie Mix Dogs. We maintain a “Family Relationship” with our Shelties if possible after placement. We commit to the Dog upon intake FOR LIFE, and promise the Dog that they will never go hungry, sleep outside in the weather, or want for proper Medical Vet Care. We do this because of the Love of the Breed and the heartache we have experienced in Lost Sheltie situations.

We are a group of animal lovers who want to help the homeless population in Iowa. The board of Directors is made up of me, Desiree Springman, Jon Biegen, Lyndee Schroeder and Cathy Buenzow. We do this because we genuinely care about helping animals find forever homes, and educating the public in regards to being able to keep and care for their animals already in the home.

We are a foster based rescue that is completely volunteer run. We accomplish approximately 20 adoptions each year, perform monthly educational and fundraising events for the public such as free microchipping, rattlesnake avoidance training, coyote awareness, etc. We have a partnership with Chewy.com that allows us to distribute an entire semi trailer full of pet food and supplies to dozens are area animal rescues.

A HOPE of Santa Rosa County FL, Inc. came about in a very organic way. For quite some time now, several individuals have been working to make changes for the animals in our county. We care very deeply and are extremely concerned about our community cats and dogs. We are heartsick over the influx of animals coming into our local shelter, resulting in the highest euthanasia rate in our area. The fault does not lie with the shelter, however, but with our very own friends, families, and neighbors. ​ We are devastated by the cats and dogs being abandoned in our community and the countless unaltered animals roaming our streets, propagating an already suffocating animal population. So...we decided to do something about it. We are starting out as a very small group – but we have BIG dreams. As we gain momentum and support, we aim to focus on the health of our community animals, providing low cost spay and neuter options. We will be providing resources for pet owners in need, enabling them to provide for their cats and dogs in the ways they have always wanted to. We are going to educate the community at large, teaching responsible pet ownership to go along with the resources that will be provided. In sum, we will provide A HOPE for the animals and animal-loving residents of Santa Rosa County. Please open your heart to our cause and join us in whatever capacity you are able. More than ever, our animals need us.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population. The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. We are a no-kill organization. All kittens are cared for in foster homes and receive high-quality nutrition and appropriate medical care. When possible, kittens are transferred to partner rescues who share our values – that cats should not be declawed and should be kept indoors-only. Cats kept in our care until adoption age (12 weeks) are spayed or neutered and receive all age-appropriate vaccinations. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are funded exclusively through donations and grants and are entirely volunteer run. We receive kittens from local impounds, area rescues and rescuers and other members of the community.

The Ocean County Health Department operates two animal facilities. The Ocean County Animal Facilities provide temporary housing for dogs and cats and maintain a 24-hour receiving service for stray animals that are brought in by Municipal Animal Control Officers. Features of the shelters include indoor/outdoor dog runs, cat rooms, isolation areas and surgical facilities. Cats and dogs up for adoption are all spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, and receive a general health exam by the veterinarian.

TLCR’s mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Chinese Cresteds that have found themselves in less than desirable situations. We also strive to educate the community on the unnecessary euthanization of dogs of all breeds due to overpopulated shelters. TLCR provides owners and breeders of Chinese Cresteds an alternative to turning dogs into a shelter. We will do everything in our power to help!

Monroe County Animal Services We serve the stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs of the entire county.

Until They're Home focuses offers shelter support, including foster services, behavioral services (training animals and humans) and tech support. We also offer donation-based services for those who don't want to relinquish their animal to a shelter, but don't have the resources or knowledge to keep them. We do it because we love it. :)

We are a small organization, covering Northern Knox County, Indiana. We are 100% Foster based, 100% Volunteer, and 100% donation dependant. we work to bring in and take care of as many as we can possibly hold, vet, rehabilitate to in turn adopt out to approved homes. Our focus is on the animals needs not the humans.
