Last Chance at Life is an all-breed rescue and adoption organization. We have a special fondness for Boxers, birds, and ANY pet in need of medical care. We take in animals from all over San Diego County. Our rescues come to us from local shelters and humane societies, owners who can no longer properly care for them, and through other rescue groups. Most often these animals are facing euthanasia because of medical or behavioral needs. Because of this, we are truly their “Last Chance at Life.” Some of our pets are in foster homes, and others are cared for at our Adoption Center in Oceanside, CA. All of our pets receive the very best in medical care from the doctors and staff at Mission Animal and Bird Hospital. Hilo Cat Rescue aims to provide community education about feral cat colonies, to maintain food and shelter for these colonies, and to provide shelter, care, medical treatment and training for adoptable cats and kittens until they are rehomed.

Sunrays Pit Bull Rescue is a foster based rescue dedicated to educating the public about pit bulls. Their motto is "FIGHTING TO BAN IGNORANCE AND FEAR THROUGH EDUCATION OF THE BREED!" Every dog saved is placed into a foster home so where they are loved and treated like family until their forever home comes along.

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals.

We are under contract to receive all stray animals from the City of Athens and the County of Limestone. We also take unwanted animals from the public. We have active volunteers who work very hard finding rescue organizations for our animals.

We are 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue located in San Antonio, Texas. We rescue dogs off the streets or from euthanasia from municipal shelter (ACS). San Antonio is similar to a 3rd world country when it comes to stray dogs and we are working with ACS to reach non-kill status.

We partnered with Animal Friends of Barbour County to help them get these loving pets adopted. They do the most of the vetting and then we bring them to the Northern VA area where the population is dense and get the dogs adopted. This makes room in their facility, gets dogs great homes, and any remaining funds goes back to Animal Friends of Barbour County.

We rescue cats from shelters. We take pride in knowing the personalities of our adoptable cats so we can find the perfect fit for your home! Even if you don't know exactly what type of personality you are looking for, we can help. We started many years ago as a TNR group for feral cats. Naturally you also get many scared, dumped domestic animals. Ferals had no advocates in our area when we started. Thankfully now, we've been working with our local animal control and they are finally not destroying all animals deemed feral. Unfortunately, there are still too many breeding animals (feral and domestic) that need help so we can stop the needless, mass reproduction. Sometimes that's a well-meaning individual who feeds cats and after a couple of years, realizes there is a problem, or it could be an elderly person who can't afford to vet their animals. The animals not only need our advocacy but occasionally the people we help do as well. We adopt the animals that can be adopted and find special placement for others that aren't so readily "adoptable".

We are a non-profit rescue group, having rescued and rehomed over 1000 cats and kittens as of August of 2015, which was our seventh anniversary. We operate solely on donations, grants, and adoption fees; none of the volunteers in our group are paid. Any and every donation goes 100% to the care of our cats and kittens and is tax-deductible. We are always looking for dedicated individuals willing to donate time to volunteer in our rescue group. We are always in desperate need of foster homes to temporarily house our cats and kittens.
