Rockwall Animal Adoption Center

1825 Airport Road
Rockwall
Texas
75087
info@RockwallAdoptions.com(972) 771-7750
Legacy Humane Society was established in 2008 as a dog rescue organization run by volunteers and fosters. We take in dogs from EU lists and Owner Surrenders. We have them fully vetted and then we find them homes. We do home check and vet checks on all adopters. The city of Rockwall contracted with LHS in 2012 to take over managing their animals/adoptions. They will maintain animal control and we run their vetting and adoptions. We will screen apps completed at the shelter but we will not be able to due home checks based on staffing constraints. We have 14 employees and funding is done through the city and donations. In Jan 2017 the name of the facility was changed to Rockwall Adoption Center to more clearly divide both sister organizations purpose and services.

info@dachshundrescuesouthflorida.com
Dachshund Rescue of South Florida is a foster based 501(c)(3) rescue who helps hotdogs regardless of age, health, or behavioral issues find new homes after being in a shelter, as a stray out on the streets, or owner surrendered. We take our work very seriously and screen our potential forever families thoroughly to ensure that our dogs will never have to worry or want for anything ever again. Our mission is to educate people who may be unfamiliar with rescue and the time, love, and compassion that goes into identifying a little one in a shelters through getting them settled into their new forever home and why choosing to rescue a dog can be one of the most rewarding things a family can choose to do. If you are looking to add a dachshund to your family we would love to work with you. We have done our best to help explain the process and share some our favorite "happy tales" from our former dogs with their new forever families. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and we are looking forward to meeting you!

Fur Ever Friends, Inc.

Kentucky
40702
Our network of volunteers supports the efforts of individuals who have rescued homeless, abused or neglected dogs and cats by subsidizing the cost of spay and neutering, helping to find foster homes and adoptions . Fur Ever Friends, Inc. itself has no shelter, and operates totally through unpaid volunteers. Our funding comes from donations. Thanks to the generosity of many people, our reach has extended far beyond our small rural community and enabled hundreds of puppies and dogs, kittens and cats to find a better life. For example, we have: paid partial–sometimes total–costs of spay and neutering animals whose owners were unable to afford the surgery. subsidized the cost of crucial emergency veterinary care thanks to the generous help of several fine area veterinarians. arranged relays to transport dogs and cats hundreds of miles. distributed tons of pet food donated by Walmart Distribution Center and Kroger to rescuers sheltering costly ongoing dog populations. worked cooperatively with other animal welfare organizations to find adoptions for “our” animals and “their” animals. arranged foster care and found new homes for beloved pets whose owners died, or became too old, or ill to care for them anymore. counseled animal care givers with concerns about nutrition, feeding, weaning, fleas, training, behavior, grooming etc. treated dozens of scraggly strays with mange dip and worm medicine and had them immunized before placing them in foster care. lent equipment such as a kennel, cages, pet carriers, dog houses, humane trap free of charge for short term use. YOU ARE WELCOME TO WRITE OR EMAIL US FOR MORE INFORMATION. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FOSTERING ANIMALS, WOULD LIKE TO ADOPT ONE, OR JOIN US AS A VOLUNTEER, LET US HEAR FROM YOU. AND, REMEMBER TO INCLUDE YOUR ADDRESS, EMAIL, AND PHONE NUMBER SO WE CAN CONTACT YOU! If you are interested in donating please know that all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. We accept donations by mail or online. If you wish to make a secure donation online, you may do so through our website at the following link: http://www.fur-ever-friends.org/Donations.html Description We are a not-for-profit organization and raise money through tax deductible donations to help animal rescuers with expenses for emergency vet care and spay and neuter. 100% of all donations go directly to assisting the animals.

California Labradors Retrievers and More Rescue

San Diego
California
92121
doginfo@labsandmore.org(858) 273-5386
We are a Non Profit 501(c)3 Organization operated through donated hours by our dedicated Volunteers. We rescue young and old, big and small Labradors, Boxers, Shepherds, Collies, Cattle Dogs, Pitt Bulls, and many mixed breed dogs. Your information will help us guide you toward dogs that will blend with your family situation and lifestyle. We do not adopt first come first serve but to best match. You will be adopting a RESCUED dog, one who will need continued care, support and love to overcome their past life situations. Be ready to commit time, money and resources to helping your dog transition to their new home. Rescuing a dog does not end at the adoption. You are agreeing to take on the next step in their life. Remember these are RESCUED animals who have endured hardships that we may not be aware of. Labs and More provides you with a Dog or Puppy who have received a Veterinarian check up, Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, Worming, Fecal Test, and most adults a 4DX Test. Some of our dogs have undergone surgeries, treatments, and ongoing medical care. Our dogs receive far more care than what the Adoption Donation covers. When you adopt you are agreeing to provide the future needs of your new rescued Dog. This is what RESCUING is all about.

Millington Animal Safe Haven Canine Rescue - MASH

Tennessee
38053
Millington Animal Safe Haven is a group of volunteers in Millington, Tennessee and the surrounding areas who are devoted to loving and saving dogs! Dogs are special beings that God placed here to be "man's best friend". They give unconditional love to humans all over the world! We welcome those that want to participate in our mission to love, save, heal and find a "forever home" for each of our rescued pups. We foster them in our homes so we know their personalities and where they will fit in with a new family! MASH pledges to always tell the absolute truth about our dogs ready for adoptionl!! Mission and Vision Statement: "A righteous man regards the life of his animals." (Proverbs 12:10) The Millington Animal Safe Haven 2020 Vision carries with it promise and devotion to the dogs we save and care for in our homes and at MASH. This vision is based on the work of our body of volunteers. MASH is supported by every volunteer's pledge to dog rescue and our individual actions are freely given to achieve our belief that we have a duty to provide loving and humane care and treatment for one of God's great gifts to mankind, the devoted and loyal family dog. Our Vision will be accomplished through the following: I. Establish a site to provide safe haven; a place for secure intake of rescued dogs where love is given as each dog's specific needs are identified and care is given as work is done to find each dog a "forever home". II. Secure a place for Millington Animal Safe Haven's rescued dogs, volunteer workers and prospective families to come together. A place where life is positive, uplifting and fun. A comfortable environment for people and dogs to play, meet and greet. III. M.A.S.H. will work to raise public awareness by communications, fundraising, public functions, adoption days and working in coordination with other local groups in the City of Millington and the surrounding areas to advance the needs of dogs identified by this mission. We will focus on providing humane treatment and "forever" homes for the rescued dogs in need. Millington Animal Safe Haven-MASH will work to increase sponsorships, donations and build the number of volunteers/foster homes to care for the needy dogs now and in the future.

Louisiana
71006
nr2radoptionteam@gmail.com
I, Ninna Lopez, have been in rescue since 2007, managing a large no-kill shelter before starting Ninna's Road to Rescue in 2012. We have rescued and rehomed 1000's of animals. Our facility is climate controlled and the animals stay indoors at night in specially designed doggy rooms. They have access to the outdoors during the day in a large fenced in area. It's a little bit of paradise for the dogs until they find their furever home.

You could contact a H.A.L.O. representative through our email: contacthalo@yahoo.com , or by calling H.A.L.O. voicemail at 925-473-4642.
