Began in 1982. Middle GA has a great many homeless, abandoned, and abused pets.

We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Yorkshire Terriers. We are passionate about the breed and do everything we can to help them! Our dogs come from shelters, owner surrenders, backyard breeders and puppymills.

Established in 1991, the Parke Vermillion County Humane Society is a non-profit private organization committed to the education of the public in the humane treatment of all animals, the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, and the importance of animal population control through the promotion of spaying and neutering. PVCHS has been helping the animals in Parke and Vermillion Counties, Indiana, since April of 1991. The shelter was built in 2000 and opened in late November, 2000. We provide an animal shelter that accepts stray animals and owner surrendered animals. Once the animals have been vaccinated and checked medically, we offer them for adoption. We work hard to find placement for every adoptable animal, either through adoption or placement with a rescue organization, that comes to our facility.

Pet Matchmaker South is a 501(c)3 non-profit rescue organization that rescues homeless and unwanted dogs from high kill shelters and abusive and neglectful situations in the southern United States.

SPOT was created to fill the need to save animals who “fall through the cracks” in our sheltering system. Local shelters are overwhelmed—they receive so many strays and owner turn-ins that they run out of space and have to kill thousands of animals each year. The majority of these animals are healthy and simply need to be placed into a home. Others are medical cases which require some work, but do not have life-threatening diseases or injuries. And a few have some moderate behavior issues; we work with specialists to correct these behaviors before finding them their forever home. The bottom line is SPOT can save these lives.

We are a 501 C3 organization with a board of directors (9) who meet monthly. We were organized in 1978 and we normally admit about 700 animals each year and adopt about 75% of those.

My name is Crystal Dyrdahl, im the lead tech/manager here at Animal Care Clinic in El Sobrante California. This is a full service veterinary hospital. At times we do rescue cats and dogs who are in need of medical attention, i.e, parvo, hit by car, fractures, ect. When their owners can not pay for their pet's needs, ACC will step in, rescue the animal and provide medical and/or surgical care untill he/she is ready to find a home. This is were I hope you come in to help us. Being able to place these animals pics and bio's on your web site and then to all the others will increase these animals chances of finding a great home. All of us here at ACC become bonded with our furry friends during their treatment and recovery, we want nothing more but to find an amazing and loving home for all of them.
