The PPAW Spay/Neuter Clinic is dedicated to reducing the numbers of unwanted dogs, cats, kittens and puppies in East Tennessee.

Since our rescue started in August of 2005 , we have adopted out over 2,600 dogs to new and happy homes. WOW!! Our main problem is people in our area do not spay or neuter their animals. We have a lot of problems with families that get a puppy and then when they are about 1 year of age they want to get rid of it. Both of the humane societies in our area are too full so, now they are sending animals to us. We are extremely pleased to see that people are opening there hearts to our wonderful rescue. We are always looking for families who would like to help us foster these kids until they find their new homes. We are always getting feedback and pictures of our adopted pets with their new families which is shared with the fosters.

Canadian Hound Rescue is a small, not-for-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to helping homeless and abandoned coonhounds find loving and permanent homes as indoor pets. We mainly operate in Ontario, but have volunteers in other provinces as well. We rescue all breeds of coonhounds including the Black and Tan, Bluetick, Redbone, English, Plott Hound, and Treeing Walker Coonhounds. We also rescue Bloodhounds and hound mixes.

Partners For Pets volunteers frequently visit high kill animal control facilities and pull dogs and cats who are scheduled for euthanasia. We focus primarily on frail, sick, elderly, injured and sick animals that have little to no chance of adoption through one of these facilities. We are a group of very dedicated volunteers with a small shelter and only 5 paid part time employees. Our adoption numbers far exceed the larger rescue groups in our area and we do over 1000 adoptions per year with a very low return rate.

Almost Home Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization made up solely of volunteers. Our primary purpose is to rescue mistreated or homeless animals and place them in loving environments. We hope to bring about a significant change in the treatment of all animals through educational programs and by working closely with other rescue organizations and sanctuaries. Almost Home believes that every animal deserves a loving home regardless of appearance, age, or physical limitation. No animal is expendable! We strive to give animals the safe and happy life they deserve.

ALL-AMERICAN MUTT RESCUE, INC. is a foster-based animal rescue organization that has grown out of love and compassion for animals. Located in Huddleston, VA, we are truly in the heart of Virginia – 30 minutes from Lynchburg, 30 minutes from Smith Mountain Lake, 30 minutes from Bedford, and 60 minutes from Roanoke. Our motto is “Rescue … rehome … real love” and we try to live it every day. We rescue animals in need of new homes and loving families. We make sure each of them is spayed or neutered and up-to-date on all routine vaccinations. If other medical care or treatment is needed, we get that for them as well. We welcome them into our homes and our lives and really get to know their personalities and their needs. Then we make it our mission to re-home them … and to place them in the forever home that will be perfect for them. Some of them really need to have another pup companion while others will do fine being an ‘only pet.’ Some love having children to play with while others prefer being with adult people. Some do well sharing a home with cats or other small pets while others, well … not so much. And the only way you know this is by living with them! We also work to educate and encourage pet owners to spay or neuter their animals to a) help their pets lead longer, healthier lives and b) help reduce the numbers of homeless and unwanted animals in our Central Virginia communities. Cat Lovers Inc. is a small south Tampa all-volunteer organization working to rescue stray cats and find them forever homes. We are involved in helping control the feral cat population in Hillsborough County though the TNR program (trap, neuter & return). Our goal is to stop euthanasia as a population control. We also educate the public on the importance of spay/neuter and regular vet checkups for pets.

We are a group of woman in the entertainment industry that rescue dogs in our spare time. We rescue them from shelters, streets and abusive situations because we love them!

Rescue started in 2009 to educate and help rehome the many stray cats and dogs in our area. Promoting spay/neuter program and offering vouchers to low income adopters.
