Domesticated for thousands of years, cats are popular pets worldwide, valued for companionship and their ability to hunt pests. They have soft fur, retractable claws, and communicate through vocalizations, body language, and purring. Cats are independent yet affectionate, adapting well to various environments and forming strong bonds with humans.

We are trying to eliminate the suffering of cats in this state. Our primary objective is to TNR, but have found ourselves spending more time caring for cats that no longer have homes. So we are also a sanctuary. We have not adopted out even one cat since we started.

We are a cat kitten rescue501c3 and have devoted decades as well as incredible funding and resources to ending homelessness, cruelty and neglect. We are 100% volunteer based and have received Maddie Funds grants, Manatee County Animal Services cooperative grants and recently received a large FAF grant to TNR. We use many tools to end homelessness in cats and kittens thru adoption, spays, neuters, tNR’s, education, awareness. Some of us have migrated from the canine world where things are much better. Dogs are not born under every dumpster and the author of this has worked for decades to close commercial breeding facility (aka Puppy mills). Community cat colony maintenance and pawpulation control is another aspect of this rescue.

Saving Grace is a foster based rescue in Southwest Wisconsin. Our founders fostered through other organizations for years and when they moved to the area they realized how great of a need there was for animal welfare services. Our surrounding counties are only able to take in a limited number of cats/kittens so they turn the majority of intakes away. We also partner with farms that have overpopulations of farm cats. We provide access to spay/neuter services and rehome all adoptable cats to help get the overpopulated farms under control.

We began taking in animals in 2015. Our rescue's mission is to assist terminally ill people with finding new families for their pets. We interpret this mission to mean we help people going into nursing homes, assisted living, hospice, managing illness, and after the owner has passed away. We want to provide people and pets with peace of mind. We want owners to know their animals are well cared for and to keep senior animals out of shelters.

SCRITCH Kittens is it Foster based rescue with headquarters in foster homes in Santa Clara County. We focus on providing support and Care for animals in the shelter that are shy or sick that need rehabilitation before becoming adoptable. Typically animals will spend 2 to 4 weeks in a foster home and when fully recovered and social enough for adoption then we move forward. My name is Jennifer flick and I started scritch 2 years ago to fill the gap for kittens that were not adoptable at the shelter and were at risk of euthanasia or TNR at a very young age. We do accept animals from the community if we have availability but at the moment we are focusing on the San Jose Animal Care Center.

We are a CA 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We charge people to visit the cats and serve snacks. Should a visitor want to adopt, there is no fee, or the fee is refunded. We work with rescues who pull cats from high kill shelters to live at our cafe. We also take in street cats who have been vetted by reputable community trappers. Our goal is to find homes for the cats and provide information for responsible cat ownership.
