The Humane Society of Bay County was formed in November 1984 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized a need within our community. Since that time, the organization has acted as the animal advocate in our community. Mission: The Mission of the Humane Society of Bay County is to save, protect, and enhance the lives of animals in Bay County. Vision of the future: The Humane Society of Bay County is the community’s resource organization for saving animals and looks to a future no-kill shelter. Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary is an all volunteer foster based animal rescue network based in Illinois and Northwest Indiana. A core group of volunteers live in the Chicago Suburbs and surrounding Chicagoland area. As a small non-profit, Fur Angels works tirelessly to giving all animals a second chance at finding a forever home. Without having an actual shelter, we have many volunteers who have opened their homes to exotic animals and some with special needs. This rescue is unique because we foster many animals deemed unadoptable. We rescue dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, reptiles, turtles, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, rodents, fish and more!

We are a cat rescue in Maricopa County. Kneading Kitty's Rescue, saves cats in dire need from the puplic and from kill shelters. We are a non-profit, no kill rescue. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv, and microchipped prior to adoption. We do this because there are not as many rescue's in Maricopa county that save cats. We are passionate about cats and will do what we can to help them and to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering.

Living The Dream Rescue is a non-profit rescue that rescues animals in dire need from euthanasia from high kill shelters and assists the public with an alternative to the high kill shelters. Maricopa County has the highest euthanasia rate in Arizona.

The Hancock County Humane Society is a no-kill*, non-profit animal shelter registered as a 501(c)3 organization. (We are not affiliated with, nor do we receive financial support from, the Humane Society of the United States.) This shelter has been in existence since 1977 and has always been staffed entirely by volunteers and funded entirely on donations from the local community. We strive to find permanent safe and loving adoptive homes for the pets in our care. We average 30-40 cats in our shelter and with foster volunteers. Our average intake of cats in a year, and adoptions of pets, is approximately 150. With the recent addition of a medical isolation suite to our facility, our volunteers in cooperation with local veterinarians are able to provide the daily care necessary to help more sick animals become healthy, adoptable pets. We work with other local shelters and last year rescued over 75 cats from facilities who are sometimes forced to euthanize animals due to illness or space limitations. We also work to provide our community with resources for necessary animal care services so more residents can keep their pets and avoid surrendering them to a shelter. Our pet food pantry is nearing its first completed year in service. We host annual low-cost vaccination clinics with local veterinarians to provide pet owners with affordable vaccines. We provide resources to help reunite lost pets and their owners. (And our pets are adopted with microchips that can be transferred to their new forever family.) We help scouting groups with pet-related education and service projects, and connect pet owners with spay/neuter resources to help reduce the population of unwanted animals. REACH Rescue Inc. rescues dogs and cats that are stray, abandoned, relinquished, abused, neglected, or have run out of time at public shelters and scheduled to be euthanized as a result of overpopulation. REACH attempts at all times to bring animals and their people together. The Organization is committed to promoting the rescue, adoption, and public education necessary to ensure that all animals passing through our care REACH a stable, healthy and happy life.

BTBPR members are dedicated to rescuing abused, neglected and abandoned animals. We strive to find them forever homes and reduce euthanasia. BTBPR also assists Arizona’s retired public safety K-9’s with medical needs.
