Operation Pets Alive! believes that many in our community share our values with regard to homeless dogs and cats. Therefore, we see a need to increase community awareness and community involvement regarding the No-Kill movement and the plight of homeless dogs and cats in our community. We want to help people “do the right thing” for animals. Operation Pets Alive! is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization striving to elevate Montgomery County to a No-Kill community through innovative programs that: Raise community awareness Reduce the number of dogs and cats that enter our shelters Increase the number of dogs and cats that leave our shelters alive

Established in 1986, the Seal Beach Animal Care Center is a non-profit, pro-humane animal shelter committed to finding permanent, loving homes for all the animals that come into our care. Our staff of dedicated volunteers ensures the animals are kept as comfortable as possible until they can be placed in to new adoptive home

Heartland Humane Society of Missouri is a 501(c)3 non-profit group of dedicated foster homes that gives abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals another chance for loving, permanent homes through our adoption program, following the no-kill philosophy. We reduce pet overpopulation in our community through collaboration with veterinarians, animal welfare organizations, and supportive individuals and organizations by providing affordable spay/neuter procedures and humane education. Heartland Humane Society of Missouri is funded by adoption fees, donations, fundraising events, grants and tributes.

We are a private SPCA in Fauquier County serving our local community and beyond. An important part of our mission is emphasizing the importance of spay/neuter and we have a low-cost clinic to support that. We have a contract with Animal Control services in Fauquier County and intake all animals seized by them including but not limited to abandoned, stray, court-case, abused and surrendered. We adopt out almost all pets that have been deemed to be successfully adoptable.

Who We Are The Santa Fe Animal Shelter is the largest animal shelter and care facility in northern New Mexico. We serve more than 10,000 lost, stray, abandoned or injured animals each year. As a private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we receive nearly all of our funding through private donors in our community and beyond. The Shelter contracts with the City and County of Santa Fe to care for homeless and stray animals, but also serves every animal brought through our front doors from any other source. We work to reunite people with their lost animal companions, and re-home those animals that have gone unclaimed into new homes through our adoption program. Low- and no-cost spay/neuter programs address the overpopulation problems that our community faces. Humane education programs in our local schools teach children to respect and care for all living creatures. Partnered with our community, we work for change in the lives of our companion animals and to end the suffering of all animals. A Brief History On July 18, 2005, the Santa Fe Animal Shelter left its home of 66 years—the only home the organization had ever known—and moved to our new, two-building, 100-acre campus. We left a structure that had helped us serve thousands upon thousands of animals for the better part of seven decades. And while that home held so much history and love, the needs of our community meant we needed more. Thanks to a partnership with the City of Santa Fe and the Bureau of Land management, we moved to a parcel of land with hiking trails, room to walk dogs, and amazing sunsets. After a multi-year fundraising drive, the first phase was completed: two beautiful new buildings in which we can provide a higher level of care to the animals in our community. The Lapides Adoption Center serves healthy, adoptable animals. Every detail of the new Shelter is designed for the comfort and health of the animals. From the tiled banco in each dog kennel to the spacious, cozy, cat colony rooms; from the radiant floor heating for our four-footed visitors to “cuddle” rooms where potential adopters can visit with an animal in an area designed to simulate a home environment. The second building, the Robin Sommers Animal Receiving & Care Center, allows us much more room to house stray and abandoned animals as we care for them during their stay with us. High-tech ventilation systems allow us to better control the spread of contagious diseases and to safely treat the animals in our care much more effectively. A third building, The Clare Eddy Thaw Hospital, was completed in the summer of 2013 and proudly opened to further serve the needs of the community. We welcome you to visit the new haven we are providing to the animals of our community. Two five-acre dog parks are available so that the Shelter will not just be a place to adopt an animal or find a missing one, but one to visit over and over again. We have built this Shelter for you, our community, to use as a resource and a place to find joy with the animals. Bond County Humane Society (BCHS) was formed in 2003 by Rachel & Dennis Hundsdorfer and a small group of concerned citizens. The mission is to provide temporary housing to stray, unwanted and neglected cats and dogs until permanent loving homes can be found. Our mission also includes controlling the pet overpopulation through low cost spay/neuter programs. We offer local low cost spay/neuter programs for companion animals and low cost spay/neuter programs for feral free roaming cats. We actively participate in humane education programs with a group of volunteers from surrounding counties to elementary and high schools those counties. BCHS was formed because we saw a need for improving animal welfare in Bond County.

Richardson Rescue, located in York, SC, is a non-profit animal adoption agency dedicated to preserving the sanctity of animal life. While trying to find a forever home for every pet that comes to us, we strive to give owners a better education on pet care, prevent pet neglect/abuse and provide a low cost spay/neuter program for those that can't afford it. Richardson Animal Rescue is a 501C3, non profit, publicly funded rescue.

St. Animal Pet Adoptions aka SAPA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to local strays and surrenders in finding forever homes and a family to love them as they should be loved. We also work on educating people about the breeds The St. Animal Pet Adoptions vision is to fulfill our mission statement to increase the number of adoptions and to start an education program. The vision is to have a pet adoption program up and running immediately with obtaining our 501(c)3 status within one year of the date of inception. To bring the number of adoptable animals sent to a kill shelter to zero. To enclose the area next to the shelter to give the animals kept in the pound a place to exercise. To start an education program to help, not only educate regarding spay/neuter and the no kill method; but to instill the importance of advocacy for something you believe in, and volunteering for your community. Reduce the number of animals euthanized by re-homing more animals and increasing the adoption rate in our community. Educate the community on adequate care and control of their pets with emphasis on the importance of spaying/neutering their pets and staying up to date on the vaccinations.
