Dogs

We rescue dogs who are deemed unadoptable due to their behavior. We have partnered with two training facilities to help us. We decided to work with these dogs because these are the dogs that are put down first. Most dogs display fear at shelters and that gets them on the euthanasia list. With trainers who are committed to assist us with training these dogs become adoptable and some can become ESA animals with their training as well. It is easy to adopt out puppies or dogs who are easy but we thought what about the rest who are not helped because of the cost of training and difficulty level.

To Love a Canine Rescue, Inc. (TLC) is a non-profit, all breed, foster based, no-kill rescue operating in Chester County, PA. Our mission is to rescue and find permanent homes for abandoned, stray and surrendered dogs in order to minimize the needless euthanizing of animals.

Greater California German Shepherd Rescue is a 501(c)(3) public charity non-profit. We are an all-volunteer group of German Shepherd lovers dedicated to rescuing German Shepherd Dogs from at-risk and unacceptable situations and finding them permanent, loving homes with qualified owners. We serve the communities surrounding Modesto, Merced, Greater Sacramento, and South Lake Tahoe, and occasionally parts of the North and East SF Bay area. Except for a portion of Nevada around Lake Tahoe, we don't adopt dogs out of state and rarely adopt out of our area. There are too many other German Shepherds in need of good homes in the other areas.

Hi everyone! Just as a little background on us, Sarah and Jules, we are originally from Pugh Zoo Rescue. Sarah founded Pugh Zoo and ran it from 2014 to 2019 after fostering and volunteering for other rescues for several years. Jules was one of her best fosters and volunteers during that time. Over that 5yrs span thousands of lives were saved but sadly personal issues arose which forced a closure. Two years later we have teamed up as Fairy Tails Rescue and can’t wait to save lives with the help of fans, family, friends and all those willing to join us on this journey!! <3

We are a dog rescue that rescues dogs that are strays, or owner surrenders or shelter saves because we believe in giving them a doggone chance. We are a small but mighty organization and my husband and I operate most of the organization. We work full time in Real Estate and Rescue is our passion so we tagged it Real Estate and Rescue!

KFR is composed of a passionate group of animal lovers in our community that came together to form “Kate’s Furreka Rescue”, a group dedicated to helping improve the welfare and safety of animals in our community. Last year we fostered over 300 dogs and adopted out 270. We are committed to assisting our local shelter with saving animals, to educating our community about the importance of spay and neutering for their pets, and to assisting families who need a helping hand from the community to keep their pets at home instead of surrendering them to the shelter.

About We give dogs the most important ride of their life. Founded in 2012, our volunteer-based charity has transported close to 2,500 dogs across North America and internationally that are at the threat of being euthanized. Working in partnership with shelters, we identify and transport dogs on buses, cars and planes to pre-qualified homes in Alberta and the Eastern Region of B.C. When our dogs have adjusted from their journey and settled into their foster homes, they are either adopted by the foster or become available for adoption. We are addressing an international crisis about shelter over-populations, owner dog surrenders and discriminatory breed specific legislation. We believe that every dog deserves a new leash on life. We consistently seek fosters, funds, partners and volunteers. We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
