I am a veterinarian's wife, have been doing rescue for 23 yrs, and we take dogs of all kinds, not just Dalmatians, if we have room. Our dogs are fostered.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) for Monterey County is your nonprofit, independent, donor-supported humane society that has been serving the animals and people of Monterey County since 1905. The SPCA is not a chapter of any other agency and does not have a parent organization. They shelter homeless, neglected and abused pets and livestock, and provide humane education and countless other services to the community. Paws and Claws Animal Adoption and Care Center, Inc. is a nonprofit organization created for the welfare of homeless cats and dogs. Our priority is to facilitate the adoption and care of stray, abandoned, abused or surrendered animals. We will work diligently to place the animals into permanent, loving homes. In the interim, Paws and Claws will provide the animals with clean, safe surroundings and assure they receive veterinary care, proper nourishment, training, rehabilitation and plenty of love, companionship and attention.

2 women over 50 yrs of age who have fostered for Helotes Humane Society and Animal Defense League in San Antonio Tx. We are mostly street rescuers for dumped, abandoned, injured and abused dogs. We take in pregnant strays if they are trusting, if not we take their entire litter out of the environment as soon as possible to prevent harm or health complications. We also pull dogs on the euthanisa list from ACS Animal Control Services in San Antonio and surrounding areas. We do this because all dogs have feelings just as people do and they deserve to live a healthy happy life filled with love.

Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and finding forever homes for stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs in high kill shelters. We are a small, volunteer run organization. All of our animals listed are in foster homes waiting to be adopted and because of this, we get to know the animals' personalities very well and use this information to match them to an appropriate home. We do not have a physical shelter. This rescue is not funded by public funds nor does it receive many donations so it is dependent on adoption fees to keep operating. We provide all needed supplies and cover medical costs of the foster while it awaits a forever home.

We promote the responsible stewardship of all domestic animals
