Family Dog Rescue was founded in January 2010 by a group of people who have many years of experience with a wide variety of rescue and shelter organizations. An important part of our mission is to help families with children adopt dogs, instead of using breeders, as these families often have a difficult time adopting from municipal shelters because of restrictions required by the shelters. We rescue almost all types of dogs including bully breeds and we make it a point to provide appropriate veterinary care. We often take dogs who have medical issues, or are deaf or otherwise "less than perfect".

MaryAnn has been involved in rescue for more than 20 years. Tails of the City is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3 organization dedicated to the rescue, treatment and rehoming of dogs and cats in the greater Los Angeles area.

Our goal is to fight for the plight of all companion animals so that none of them will ever have to experience the horrors of being imprisoned in a pound system, where most of them are executed for the “crime” of being unwanted and homeless. Animals entering our sanctuary will be given exceptional loving care and all the necessary medical attention whether short term, until adopted or for their lifetimes. The survival of the sanctuary depends entirely on the support and donations from supporters, members and volunteers. Through their generous giving we will be able to save countless lives in the future.

Home Our Mission Adoptable Dogs Contact Us No Stray Left Behind is dedicated to finding homes for all stray dogs. Whenever we find a stray dog on the street, we do our best to catch him/her and give him/her a loving home until we can find them a forever home. We always have dogs coming in and out. We also educate people about the benefits of spaying and neutering your pets. Even if you aren't looking for a dog, a donation of anything - dog food (they are all on PetSmart's Authority brand), money, blankets, etc. - and telling your friends can help save these dogs. The more we can find homes for the more we can take in.

Animal Rescue Organization that uses foster families and do not operate a shelter. We hold weekend adoption events to adopt out animals that are generally pulled from the various county shleters in our area.

We are a spay/neuter group for cats in Contra Costa County

We are a group of volunteers who have rescued dogs for years and placed them in loving homes. We love animals and do our best to save as many as possible!
