all-volunteer group of dog-lovers who rescue dogs that are out of time at hi-kill shelters in Northen California. We vet all our rescue dogs (spay/neuter, rabies, HW, etc) and adopt them to well qualified homes.

We are a group of friends that have been working and volunteering within an animal control for sometime. We have great knowledge and dedication on our side. We are ready to start out on our own and work hard to practice the principles of teaching good pet ownership while leading my example. We will also be working hard to educate our community, provide spay/neuter assistance, training and offer help with alternate placement. Our goal is to keep animals in their homes, however, if they can not be kept in their homes; to help find them placement so that they do not enter high kill shelters allowing more space for the animals in those shelters.

Furrever Grateful Feline Rescue is a small, volunteer-run, not for profit feline rescue group based in Orange County, California. We rescue homeless kittens off the streets--kittens who have been abandoned, neglected, or were living as strays and somehow found their way to us. Because we do not have a shelter, each of our kittens are fostered indoors where they are cat-tested, litterbox trained, and become fully accustomed to living in a home before adoption. ADOPTION MANTRA: Because we are a small rescue, we provide top-notch personalized care for each kitten and cat we rescue. We spend quality time with each feline to get to know their individual personalities, habits, and preferences which in turn, allows us to make the best furrever home match for years to come. Also, we are committed to providing full vet services for all rescued felines which are included in their adoption fee.

We are animal rescue volunteers with long experience in placing animals in permanent homes. We work with local shelters to rescue animals they cannot place. We started our rescue in particular to take in special needs animals who may otherwise face euthanasia.

We are a group of people pulling the animals from the pts list from high kill local shelters. We also pull the injured and very sick animals and get them the proper Vet care and then nurse them back to health before we adopt them out. This is very important to us and we pride ourselves on saving those animals in need and finding the the perfect "forever" homes for them. We are foster home based at this time, but are in the market to purchase and start a sanctuary and rehab facility. We will still have the foster homes once this happens. We are also in the process of filing for our 501c3 status.

Ohlone Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) animal welfare nonprofit. We serve Fremont, Newark and Union City. OHS advocates for all creatures, from native species to companion animals, through our humane programs. While we don’t operate a shelter, OHS provides a rehabilitation center for urban wildlife.
