Animals Rule Placement Foundation

Who We Are: Animals Rule Placement Foundation is a registered 501 (C) 3 Non Profit Organization #13-4264510. We are based out of the South Bay, in the City of San Pedro, California. Our funding comes entirely from donations, our adoption fees and fund raisers. We do not receive any City, County or Government funding. Your tax deductible donation is used 100% for the welfare and veterinary care of the animals while they are with us. Our Mission Statement: Animals Rule Placement Foundation was founded in 2003 by Stephanie Crawford. We are a group of non paid volunteers who have come together to rescue and foster animals in need of adoption. We believe in the spay & neuter of all animals, regardless of breed, in order to aid in the prevention of pet overpopulation. We strive to help decrease the number of dogs being euthanized in our local animal shelters by providing basic training for those dogs that have behaviors which need to be modified. We also make sure sick or injured animals receive veterinary care and necessary rehabilitation. Our dogs come to us from a variety of different sources. Some dogs are rescued from our City and County Shelters, most are strays, neglected, abandoned or abused.

We are a no kill rescue group in southern california. Our primary focus is rescuing animals off of death row and local high kill shelters before they are to be euthanized. We then either board them or place them in foster homes so we can better access their personalities before placing them in loving homes. All our animals are seen by our vets, spayed/neutered, given approriate vaccines, some are microchipped, FELV/FIV tested if they are cats, heartworm tested for dogs and given flea treatment prior to adoption.

Cattledog Dreams is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care, trianing and placement of Australian Cattle Dogs and Cattle Dog mixes. We rescue Cattle Dogs from shelters in Northern California and also help owners rehome their dogs. The organization's Director, Jennifer Andersen founded this organization because of her love for this breed, which is highly intelligent and loyal. Jennifer noticed that Cattle Dogs fare particularly poorly in shelters due to the stress of being isolated from people, confined in close proximity to other dogs of varying temperments, and the lack of exercise opportunities available in a shelter environment. When stressed, they often shut down and seem unfriendly and unadoptable, so their euthenasia rate in shelters is very high. Cattledog Dreams was founded to help prevent this trangic loss of life for a breed that wants nothing more than to be with people.
