United Dog Rescue Inc. is a fully approved 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization which was founded in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are an all-condition, all-breed, all-size, and all-age dog rescue & adoption center. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and adopt abandoned dogs into well-matched forever homes. The dogs we rescue are: homeless, mistreated, injured and living in kill shelters. Many dogs require immediate medical attention. Our rescue center provides refuge and a second chance for abandoned dogs. In addition to dog rescue and adoption, we educate the community about respect and kindness to all animals.

I have been fostering for another rescue group for over 8 yrs. I see the need to not only help pets in need but also help the people who have the pets. I want to rescue pets that are in need of a new home but to help fix any pet that is in (homeless, low income and home bound people) teach them the 5 freedoms and pray that one day we will not need to do rescue.

The dogs in our program are kept in private homes in our service areas. We are a 100% volunteer organization with no paid positions. Boxer Rescue Angel’s mission is to rescue and rehabilitate displaced and abandoned Boxer dogs, provide veterinary care including spay/neuter, shelter in foster homes, and facilitate their adoption to carefully screened permanent homes. In addition, BRAF provides assistance to owners who must re-home their dogs, and strives to educate the public of the importance for spay/neuter, heartworm prevention and responsible pet ownership.

We are Swamp Haven and this is our story. Swamp Haven is an animal rescue organization that takes down-on-their-luck dogs and nurtures them back to a healthy mental and physical state, so they can find their forever home. Our goal is simple. We save innocent dogs that have been overlooked by society and provide short-term care including vetting (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and heartworm and flea prevention) and training to learn how to walk politely on a leash, play in a pack and live calmly and lovingly in their new home. It all started a few years back when we made the move from the Pacific Northwest to North Florida. We were surprised to learn how many dogs lose their lives in shelters each month around this area and felt compelled to do something. In the beginning of 2015, we founded Swamp Haven, a 501c3 nonprofit dog rescue organization that survives entirely on donations. Feel free to noodle around our site and learn more about our organization including ways to donate, how you can foster a dog and our adoption process.

Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida (LRROF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to placing Labrador Retrievers in loving, permanent homes. Our organization is comprised of hardworking volunteers and vetrinarian partners that are committed to placing Labs in new homes. Lab Rescue started in 2000 as a grassroots organization and has pioneered the talents and techniques of its volunteer base to become one of the most successful dedicated breed rescue in the State of Florida. LRROF provides foster care, veterinary care, spaying/neutering and microchips for the Labradors in our adoption program. Our goal is to place our Labradors in appropriate, permanent homes. Prior to an adoption, we consider the history, temperament, personality, and energy level of the rescued Labrador. The placement process includes a written application and a home visit of the potential adopter. LRROF is committed to making a lifelong match for of all our adopted Labradors.

Smiling dog rescue florida places dogs in foster homes that are in danger of being euthanized at our county shelter. We take dogs that are on the priority list. We currently do not take owner surrenders. We also help match shelter dogs with potential adopters and help with introductions and training to help shelter dogs transition to their new homes.

We are made up of volunteers from coast to coast in central Florida. We host adoption events so that people can see the animals and to educate the community on our mission. We host fundraisers to help pay the foster and boarding costs. We work with other rescue groups to transport dogs and cats for adoption or fostering. We do all of these things because we love animals and believe that every one of them deserves a safe and loving home.

Cindy is the one who started this organization about 2 years ago, I have been involved for about 5 months as their dog trainer and foster. Cindy has been giving me more responsibilities to prep me to take over. We help abandoned, abused and neglected pets to find safety through rescue, transport, foster & adoption. We do it to promote spay/neuter of pets and to help save as many pets from being euthanized and placed in a loving and forever home.

We are like minded individuals that have been in rescue over 15 years. We wanted to start our own organization because we wanted the freedom to do more rescues and transport of animals out of kill shelters to give them a chance for a new life. We do it because we love to help animals. We named it after Little Ray a blind kitty that goes to schools to teach children how wonderful animals are and that you do not have to be perfect to be perfect....We also have Wonder another blind cat and Dobie a little chihauhau that goes to schools and teach children how to treat and love animals. We also teach how important spay/neutering is to everyone.
