We are a small group of volunteers based on Oahu. Our mission and purpose is to rescue abandoned, injured, special needs, and homeless cats on our Hawaiian islands, and to provide urgent medical care. Our volunteers fight daily to save them from euthanasia due to overpopulation and lack of resources. Our goal is to advocate awareness, educate, save cats from harsh conditions in the wild, TNRM, adoption, foster care and networking.

We are 501c3 Hawaii Business that establishes and manages working cat colonies. We tnr, foster, rescue, adopt, and educate communities on responsible animal welfare. I founded the charity to save Kitties that were being euthanized due to poor colony management, irresponsible animal welfare, and abandonment .

Our rescue is comprised of loving volunteers who are dedicated to finding forever homes for IGs in need. We are part of IGRF (Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation). IGRF is the non-profit, 501c3 rescue branch of the Italian Greyhound Club of America (IGCA). IGRF is nationwide, and this is our Hawaii branch. Hilo Cat Rescue aims to provide community education about feral cat colonies, to maintain food and shelter for these colonies, and to provide shelter, care, medical treatment and training for adoptable cats and kittens until they are rehomed.

The Hawaii Island Humane Society is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization founded in 1963 in Hilo. We serve the entire Big Island while continuing to promote compassionate and humane treatment of animals in our community. Programs and services include: Shelter for homeless, stray, injured, lost and abandoned animals; Enforcement of animal control laws & animal cruelty investigations; Animal adoptions; Administration of County dog licensing program; Low-cost microchipping clinics; 24-hour on call emergency service to all districts of the Island; Administration and promotion of the Spay/Neuter Community Assistance Program; Legislative support for animal welfare laws; Humane education program for children; Shelter animal health care and vaccination program; Reunification of lost pets with their owners; Volunteer program including partnerships with community groups such as Mental Help Hawaii, First to Work, and local high schools.

HDF is a 501(c)3 non profit no kill rescue. Our mission is "No More Homeless Dogs In Hawaii". No healthy dog regardless of age or breed should ever have to be euthanized. Every dog deserves to live it's full life in a wonderful home with a loving forever family.
