We are a foster based 501(c)3 animal rescue service. We rescue at risk companion animals from high kill shelters. We also take in strays and owner surrenders. We make sure that all of our animals are fully vetted, including vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipped before making them available for adoption. We also provide low cost microchipping to the public. We hold adoption events at various locations throughout the year and we educate the public on the importance of vaccinations and spay/neuter through our Facebook page and at our events. Our Koby's Companions program allows a senior citizen or veteran to adopt or long-term foster a senior pet with no adoption fees.

Bark Bark Wag Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit rescue group. Our mission is to help dogs out of abusive, endangering or neglectful situations; and also from pounds and shelters. We spay/neuter, microchip, and educate about the importance of positive training and good nutrition.

The Humane Society of Bay County was formed in November 1984 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized a need within our community. Since that time, the organization has acted as the animal advocate in our community. Mission: The Mission of the Humane Society of Bay County is to save, protect, and enhance the lives of animals in Bay County. Vision of the future: The Humane Society of Bay County is the community’s resource organization for saving animals and looks to a future no-kill shelter. We have three board members, myself, my husband, and my ex husband. I have been rescuing animals since I was a child. My parents were awesome. When I got older I would use my own money to get them up to date and fixed and then find them new homes.

We are a home based foster organization dedicated to saving those that are medically challenged in high kill shelters. We firmly believe in rescuing those who need us the most.

S.O.S. Rescue Relief, Inc. DBA The Adopt-A-Pet Shop is an adoption center for eleven affiliated rescues groups in Minnesota. S.O.S. acts as a rescue group when all affiliated groups are "full". We operate a 7 day a week retail adoption center housing up to 25 cats and kittens and host dog meet and greet on the weekend. Very simple - we feel the same way Best Friends Animal Sanctuary does - SAVE THEM ALL. We began our career in rescue ten years ago in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

We are very dedicated volunteers who want to get as many cats as possible into good homes, sterilize cats to prevent unwanted kittens. We do it "for the love of cats"

Compass Dog Rescue was established to pull dogs from high kill shelters in the south, that are in grave danger of being euthanized, and and bring them north into foster care, until their forever home is found.

Cat Tales Rescue is an all volunteer organization dedicated to helping all homeless and abandoned cats and kittens in the greater Muskegon, Michigan area.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue with a basic mission: giving animals that are in danger of euthanasia a second chance by placing them in foster homes while recruiting adoptive families on their behalf. The animals may be in over crowded or poorly funded county shelters and pounds in big cities or rural areas.
