4 Paws 4 Rescue is an all foster home rescue. We are dedicated to saving animals that are in need, whether they be from high kill shelters, strays, abandoned animals, or owner surrenders. We strive to find suitable permanent homes for our animals and to help eliminate animal overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. We also provide education to pet owners for each animal we place in new and loving homes.

KC Pet Project is a 501c3, nonprofit charitable organization operating the Kansas City, Missouri Animal Shelter. We care for more than 10,000 animals a year and work collaboratively with Animal Control and other animal welfare organizations to increase the number of homeless pets adopted, and focus on lifesaving programs promoting pet retention, identification, lost pet reunions, and pet ownership education throughout the community. The KC Pet Project is creating a No Kill Kansas City – we’re passionate about lifesaving! Our mission is to end the killing of healthy and treatable pets in Kansas City, Missouri by using the most progressive and lifesaving programs and promoting effective animal control policies.

Shelter Pals seeks to publicize the dogs and cats impounded at Animal Talk Medical Center, which serves as the animal control holding facility for the cities of O'Fallon and Wentzville, Missouri. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their families, reach potential adopters, and find rescue for homeless animals. We are not affiliated with the animal control facility, and we are not a rescue group. Rather, we are a group of dedicated volunteers making a difference in the lives of homeless pets in our community.

Central Aussie Rescue & Support has been formed to help all Aussies and Aussie mixes. We do it to save the breed and because we all love what we do.

Our main objective is to save as many companion animals as possible from dying needlessly - whether they are abandoned or at risk of being euthanized in City and Rural Shelters.

Needy Paws Rescue, located in St. Louis, MO, is devoted to saving animals in need whose lives are in danger at high kill animal shelters and animal controls, those who are strays, and dogs who have been abandoned or whose family has faced an extreme emergency, regardless of their size or breed. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run entirely by donations. Our organization is made up of volunteers who have been involved in various animal rescues in the St. Louis area and we use our knowledge and experience to make a difference. We believe spaying and neutering is a very important step in keeping pets healthy and happy, plus it helps decrease overpopulation. All of our rescued animals will be spayed or neutered, they will be microchipped to ensure they are identifiable if lost or stolen, and they will be current on all of their vaccinations before going to their forever homes. We are foster-based and all pets stay in approved foster homes that have passed inspections, reference checks and are qualified to take care of our rescued animals while they wait for their forever family. We are dedicated to finding the best forever homes and will be making home visits and conducting veterinarian checks and reference checks to ensure the pets will have a safe, loving, happy home. Forever families will be taught how to care for their pet and learn how to get the most out of their relationship with their new family member. With a strict no-kill policy, several hundred dogs, cats and other animals of all ages and sizes call M'Shoogy's home. It costs approximately $50.00 per month per animal, excluding medicine, and approximately $500.00 per day to open the door. In over 19 years, we have saved more than 15,000 animals from certain death. Gary and Lisa Silverglat started M'Shoogy's and have given and lived a 24 hour commitment to the animals. They have had four days away from the Sanctuary in 19 years. They have never taken a salary for themselves, only given everything they have with no thought of monetary compensation. There are also other individuals, volunteers, and employees who help provide care and love for the animals. Several acres in the back are also dedicated to wildlife rehabilitation. Many animals are given medical attention and food until they are old enough and/or well enough to be reintroduced into the wild. Summer and spring brings around a large amount of raccoons and possums. Fox, owls, deer, squirrels and ducks have all called M'Shoogy's home for a little while. M'Shoogy's also provides educational tours and talks for groups to teach the importance of treating animals with dignity and respect. Permit laws and legislation against animal abuse have also been passed with M'Shoogy's help.

Dogs by Debin is located in Kansas City, Missouri. We house & care for approximately 40 dogs at any given time. Our dogs arrive in our care in many ways; owner surrenders, strays & we pull from local high-intake shelters. We have an equal balance of dogs that need medical care, behavioral rehabilitation & some dogs that are just ready to get into that new home today. All of our dogs leave our care spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped & heartworm tested (if positive, we treat them). We were developed based on the fact that there is a gap in the system here locally. The shelters that are open-intake, although they are doing the best they can, they can only do so much. Those shelters are also very stressful to the dogs & this is where we step in. You can consider our place a half-way home for dogs if you will. We allow the dogs to be dogs again, offering them behavioral modification, land to run on, playgroups & necessary vet care. With this being said, our adoption rate is sometimes slowed due to the fact the dog(s) may not be ready for adoption right away. We set our dogs up for success & match them with the right family. Our final goal is to have the adoptions last the dog's lifetime. Our #1 goal though is to have a dog stay in their current home, should it be safe. We offer counseling & resources to do our best to make this happen. When it's not possible, they may safely surrender the dog to us, provided we have space. Please consider donating to our cause. We are a group of dedicated volunteers, working together for the benefit of helpless and homeless Eskies. Our program is funded by donations and adoption fees. Our volunteers spend endless hours of rescue work which involves transporting, fostering, and networking to save American Eskimo lives.
