We are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization whose primary goals are to rescue stray, abandoned, and unwanted pet rabits, find the best possible adoptive homes for them, and, through focused education, to stop the constant influx of rabbits into shelters.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) was the first humane society to be established in North America and is, today, one of the largest in the world. Our organization was founded by Henry Bergh in 1866 on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans, and must be protected under the law. Headquartered in New York City, the ASPCA maintains a strong local presence, and with programs that extend our anti-cruelty mission across the country, we are recognized as a national animal welfare organization. We are a privately funded 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, and proud to boast more than 1 million supporters across the country.

We are a small group of animal lovers who feels there is a need for kinder rescues, with faster responses, and we strive to be that. Our focus is on pits and bully breeds but we work with all breeds!

I do it because its all about rescue and getting good homes for the adoptable cats

AHAL is a very small all volunteer group that manages several feral cat colonies and rescues cats and kittens out of those colonies, socializes them and finds loving homes. Our love of cats and the desire to reduce the cat overpopulation problem through trap/neuter/return drives us toward a goal of "no more homeless pets".

I work for the town of East Fishkill as the Dog Warden. I pick up stray dogs. I hold them for the 7 day NYS Redemption period. If they are not claimed, then I try to find homes for them.

We rescue st bernards all over NYS and are affiliated with the National Saint Bernard Rescue. We take in owner surrenders as well as shelter dogs. We do this for the love of the breed.
