WE ARE A CAGE-FREE, NO-KILL, VOLUNTEER-STAFFED CAT ADOPTION CENTER. THE MAJORITY OF US ALSO OWN CATS. THERE IS A HUGE NEED TO ASSIST CATS IN FINDING GOOD, HAPPY, FOREVER HOMES.

We are a nonprofit animal rescue, education and advocacy group. We strive to elevate the societal value of animal life through various activities including: Rescue and placement of unwanted animals Provision of necessary medical care Promoting TNR Adoptions Support for and collaboration with individuals and other welfare organizations Education of the public on the importance of sterilization, basic animal care, humane treatment of animals, and the value of animals as an integral part of our society.

Twenty Paws Rescue founders, Linda and Rachel, share one common objective and passion. Every day they battle an ongoing epidemic plaguing our streets, the abundance of forgotten homeless, abused, and surrendered animals. Twenty Paws, a small rescue, is only able to bring their ambitious dreams to fruition with the help of an exceptional and dedicated team of volunteers, fosters, donors, and adopters. Tirelessly, the Twenty Paws team utilizes their boundless devotion to provide all Twenty Paws animals with warm and loving care until they find a forever home, including foster and veterinary care. Even though the Twenty Paws focuses primarily on the “bully” breeds, they are not a breed specific rescue. Twenty Paws provides refuge and unconditional love to dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, sex, and temperament. Linda and Rachel strive to provide all Twenty Paws animals and families with the ideal match and safest environment possible. Furthermore, they have the strength inside to fight every minute. Until every shelter cage is empty, Twenty Paws will continue to be their voice. Twenty Paws Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization. All donations and contributions to the rescue are tax-deductible.

The Animal Project is a nonprofit rescue group in New York City in hopes of bettering the lives of all animals. We work primarily with cats, both with finding cats with lost homes and those who are feral and need care. Otherwise we use our good natures to rescue any animals in need and try to find them placement in homes, rescue farms, or otherwise.

Itty bitty kitty NY is a small grassroots rescue group founded in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. All of the rescuers are volunteers with the care, love and compassion to save the lives of kitties in New York.

Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer, all-breed dog rescue composed of a network of fosters and volunteers who work together to rescue sweet, loving, adoptable dogs from high kill, rural shelters in the southern U.S. states and get them adopted into wonderful forever homes.

Buffalo CARES was started by 7 people who have worked together for years at various other rescues. We started this rescue because we wanted to make sure our rescue was run the right way. We saw a need for a rescue in the Buffalo, NY area that would help & rescue local dogs. The majority of our animals are local animals.

Brooklyn Animal Action is run entirely by volunteers like you! We support BAA in our spare time (we all work full-time jobs) because we are committed to improving the lives of NYC's animals in distress.
