We are a small group of volunteers whose goal is to save the lives of homeless dogs suffering in high-kill shelters. In doing so, we hope to provide an alternative to the purchase of puppy-mill and pet-store dogs, thereby reducing the demand for and ultimately the supply of such dogs. We strive to match each dog with the right family after the dog has been observed in a foster home.

Pet Pantry is an animal rescue operated by the Pet Pantry of Lancaster County Inc. The organization was created to provide temporary free food to qualifying low-income households to keep animals out of shelters. . We believe strongly in the need for spay/neuter programs and have opened a veterinary clinic to provide low-cost sterilization services to the community and area no-kill rescues.

Pawsitively Pom Rescue is dedicated to nurturing the souls of abandoned Pomeranians, one dog at a time. We provide a safe haven and loving environment where these beautiful creatures can begin to heal and learn to trust until their forever home is found.

We are a Pennsylvania state licensed non-profit 501C3 rescue kennel and a foster home network. Our primary focus is moms-to-be, moms with pups, pups, and small breed dogs. We have over 20 years experience in canine care and training. I have been involved in rescuing animals since I was a child. The first litter I bottle raised was at age 14. I chose to focus on pregnant dogs and mom w pups. I have a special place in my heart for them. I see so many other 'rescues' leaving mom behind, or dumping mom after the pups are weaned and we do not do that. We love moms and we treat them like one of the family until we can find the perfect home for them. Educating people on spaying and neutering is key.

Crossing Paths is a 501(c)3 organization, a network of foster homes, based in Locust Fork, AL. The Yardley,PA branch is the vehicle through which the face of the southern dog can be seen by potential adopters in the northern states. We post the adoptable dogs on websites in this area, facilitate the adoptions, and remain available to the adoptive families post adoption.

We are a national rescue that takes in Brittany's from owner surrenders, shelter pulls or strays and places them into foster homes for evaluation and then into forever homes with qualified adopters. We also will take Brittany mixes.

I have always loved dogs. I started fostering for a rescue and wanted to do more. Starting with $1000.00 ( everyone said I would be closed in 6 months) we have rescued and placed over 200 dogs. We are a very small rescue , my husband and I do most of the work. We have some great volunteers that with out them we could not be as successful as we are! We are always in search of large and extra large crates. Our goal for 2012 is to build a new building that can house these dogs more comfortable. And to have my house back. It been eaten more times then it wishes to say..

PAWS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia’s homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals. PAWS is Philadelphia's largest no-kill shelter and is working to make Philadelphia a city in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home. Through its adoption locations, special events, and foster care network, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of animals each year. In March 2010, PAWS opened a low-cost, high-volume spay/neuter and wellness clinic serving pet owners and rescues in an effort to keep pets healthy and reduce the homeless pet population. Located in the Grays Ferry section of the city, the Clinic serves pet owners who have difficulty affording or do not have access to basic veterinary care (sterilization, vaccinations, treatments for upper respiratory infections/parasites/fleas, etc.) and rescue organizations that need affordable spay/neuter surgery and basic veterinary care to carry out their lifesaving work. Support for PAWS funds lifesaving initiatives including adoption and foster care programs, spay/neuter surgeries, low-cost vaccinations, and other efforts, all of which help reduce and will ultimately eliminate the unnecessary killing of Philadelphia's animals. Donations to PAWS are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

We were founded in 1981 and have spayed/neutered almost 60k cats and dogs through our programs. We have several low cost programs available, including financial assistance.
