Cross Your Paws Rescue is a compassionate organization dedicated to finding loving homes for abandoned and neglected animals. We rescue pets in need, provide them with medical care, and nurture them in a safe environment until they are ready for adoption. Our mission is to promote responsible pet ownership and advocate for animal welfare, spreading awareness about the importance of adopting rather than shopping for pets. We believe every animal deserves a second chance at happiness and aim to create a community where love and compassion for all beings thrive. Through our efforts, we hope to reduce the number of homeless pets and inspire others to join us in our mission.

My passion for rabbits came in 2021 when I adopted my first 3 rabbits. They were wonderful companions and surprisingly easy to care for so I was really inspired by the happiness they brought to my llfe. I ended up volunteering with local animal shelters to adopt their rabbits and provide educational seminars in their facilities to help eliminate the rabbits that come into the shelters because their owners underestimated their level of care. After my first adoptions from shelters, I fell in love with growing with my rabbits and now I'm even taking intakes for the shelters I used to volunteer for! Full circle karma, I love it! :)

We are a tvnr organization first and foremost. We also help the friendly strays we find on our mission but getting them vetted and finding forever homes. We also vet and rehab injured ferals in need. We try to reduce the stray pet population by hosting spay/neuter clinics often time for free through grant funding.

We rescue from high intake shelters that euth for space. We also rescue from the community and bad situations. We are foster based. We do it to provide a voice for the animals that have no say.

KittyMamas Sanctuary Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit no-kill organization dedicated to reducing the overpopulation, homelessness and neglect of cats/kittens as well as educating the community on the importance of spaying and neutering pets. KittyMamas rescues felines who are lost, abandoned and sick, while providing shelter, food and vet care to all felines in need. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including medical care, adoption programs, and sheltering. With a passionate team and a strong network of volunteers, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of countless feline companions as we strategically grow our organization. We care for all life stages from neonatal to senior, providing both short-term and long-term care. We pride ourselves in taking in FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) positive cats that otherwise would not get a chance at a long healthy productive life. KittyMamas wants to be a familiar, recognized name in the community for both adoptive and rescue services. Our motto is “Rescue, Adopt, Relocate, Advocate, Educate.”

Carbon County Friends of Animals is a non-profit organization which advocates the elimination of animal suffering through sheltering and finding homes for unwanted pets. We also promote low-cost spaying and neutering, and provide educational outreach concerning the welfare of pets. We are a privately run organization, founded in 1997 from a direct need to shelter unwanted cats within our county. Although Carbon County is part of our organization name, we do NOT receive any funding from the county or any other government agency. Unlike the Carbon County Shelter, which is a county-run organization providing shelter for unwanted or stray dogs that receives government funding, all of our operating, maintenance, and care expenses are paid for by monies raised by fund-raising and donations. Our goal is to try to shelter as many cats as possible without having to look towards euthanasia as a means of control. We continuously rely and greatly appreciate the donations that we receive from our generous contributors.

Wagon Tailz Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit joining the rescue movement by helping to eliminate the overcrowding and unfortunate euthanasia of companion animals. We are a group who share the passion to go beyond the animal volunteer efforts and to more directly impact the lives of animals. A huge part of our team’s lives have been centered around animals and their care. We have experience with volunteering at various rescues, hosting adoption events, and numerous other activities supporting the welfare and love for animals. Our team has adopted many animals over the years and want to take it a step further and aid others in their quest to find their new best friend. Created “For the love of Pugs”, the mission of our rescue is both simple and impactful. We pledge to: • Provide a safe alternative to shelters for pugs in need using loving foster homes • Provide medical care and help them on their journey to an adoptive, forever home • Educate current and prospective owners about the unique needs and health issues associated with the pug breed • Coordinate with other local and pug-specific rescues to facilitate transport, placement, and care for pugs in our service area

Omega Horse Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit horse rescue committed to providing humane treatment for all equines through education, research, and quality care. We strive to find nurturing homes for as many equines as financially feasible, and are dedicated to rehabilitating these animals for a second chance for a healthy, productive life. Our team advocates for the neglected, those left at auctions and kill pen or those donated to Omega. Our mission remains clear and constant: Educate horse owners on the actual responsibilities involved in equine care Legislate for the humane treatment of horses everywhere Find appropriate homes for unwanted, abused or neglected equines.Our founder has been actively involved with horse rescue for 30 years, but did not become a non-profit organization until 1997. Kelly Young Smith, Director of the Rescue, has witnessed firsthand the atrocities that equines all too often endure. She works tirelessly to save lives and give these wounded souls a chance for their freedom ride. Today, with more than 100 horses annually going through our gates we are well on the way toward creating a better existence for equines everywhere. However, not all of our horses are victims of abuse and neglect, or are aged and unhealthy. Many animals are donated to the Rescue by owners no longer able to provide appropriate care for their animals and want them to have a good home.

WE are a no-kill shelter in northcentral rural PA. We are a small shelter, housing up to 10 dogs and 25 cats. We take in strays and surrendered animals.
