The mission of the Lycoming County SPCA is to protect all domestic animals by: providing shelter, emergency treatment, investigation, and prosecution of cruelty or abuse complaints; adoption and counseling; education programs; and humane care throughout Lycoming County.

Pet Search is a 501(c) not for profit all volunteer, home sheltering, no kill, animal rescue and placement service providing care to homeless, abused and unwanted animals in western PA since 1986.

Being doing rescue for years and 3 yrs ago started my own

Local Whiskers, Inc. was established in March 2019 to rescue, treat, and find forever homes for at-risk cats found outside in York County and surrounding areas. We are a foster-based rescue with loving and knowledgable cat ladies spread throughout the county answering the call to help local kitties and bring them into our homes until they are adopted into their purrfect family! We are firmly committed to spaying or neutering all pets, and we assist in TNR projects for community cats. We are deeply grateful for community support, including donations, adoptions, and fostering!

We have a simple but important mission: to help all dogs and cats in need. We are committed to providing the utmost care for homeless/abused/neglected dogs and cats, and finding them true forever homes. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit Rescue organization.

We are a no-kill, foster based, all volunteer animal rescue. Lucky Dawg is dedicated to rescuing homeless, abused or unwanted animals in our local communities and outside areas if needed, as well as educating the public. We place animals in responsible, committed and loving homes. Considerable care is taken to find good matches for both the animal and the adopter. Lucky Dawg will remain committed to the animal’s welfare beyond the adoption process. ​ Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue is a charitable 501c3 organization.

We are a volunteer based organization that pulls dogs from various locations, including out of state shelters. Our NJ based volunteers pull from high kill shelters in NJ. South Hills was founded by Ashley Rittle and Nick Ferraro in 2014. Nick Ferraro is an experienced and highly regarded trainer that not only trains our dogs, but trains dogs for other rescues.. We rescue animals as an alternative to euthanizing dogs

foster home organization that focused on saving pregnant females, nursing females with puppies, and stray/orphaned/owner surrendered puppies. We do it because we are CRAZY in love with dogs!

We are an all volunteer organization that takes dogs from high kill shelters in the south and west and places them into foster care until a forever home is found.

BIBDR is a licensed, non-profit black dog rescue. We not only take in homeless, abandoned, unwanted black dogs, but we spread the importance of spay/neuter, vaccinating, and routine vet visits. We are also spreading the awareness of black dog syndrome that is in the south, and educating the north on how supressed the south truly is with the percentage of euthanasia that takes place every day due to a broken shelter system.
