T.C.A.R. is a non-profit, no-kill rescue organization located in Vancouver, WA. We provide temporary shelter and medical care for abandoned, abused, neglected, orphaned and special needs animals until they are adopted into a loving permanent homes through our adoption program. Our mission is to reduce the number of adoptable animals euthanized in overcrowded shelters and when possiable those running at large. Restore them to good health and through adoption, provide them permanent loving homes. We accomplish our mission by: - rescuing cats/kittens, dogs/puppies, rodents, birds and some reptiles: - Providing spay or neuter surgeries prior to adoption; - providing rehabilitative medical care; - providing vaccinations, flea and deworming treatments to animals in our care; - providing low cost microchips; - providing food, medicines, supplies; - providing community education; - providing safe loving foster homes; - facilitating successful adoptions; and - ensuring no adoptable animal in our care is euthanized

People United for Pets is a volunteer driven, 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization specializing in small and toy breed dog rescue. We are located in Western Washington State. Mission Statement Countless dogs are without homes and in need of assistance. These are dogs who would make wonderful and faithful companions if only they could connect with the right person or family. We have made it our mission to help them do this. At the same time we hope to enrich the lives of those who adopt them. We strive to match our dogs' needs and personality to the preferences and requirements of each potential adopter. We believe this is a crucial component of the process and will help ensure a life-long relationship. Our primary focus is on small purebred or mixed breed dogs, although we do occasionally take in larger dogs. We work collaboratively with shelters, other rescue groups, and individuals, both locally and nationally. We are a service organization operated entirely by volunteers. We have no central facility. Our dogs are placed in foster homes around the greater Seattle area where they receive socialization and training while they await adoption. PUP was established in May, 2006 and since that time has placed over 1000 dogs into their forever homes.

Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is dedicated to improving the lives of animals locally, nationally and internationally; alleviating their suffering and elevating their status in society through the rescue and rehabilitation of animals in need and through the education of their community on responsible pet ownership and animal welfare, advocating the value of all animal life, in hopes to end the neglect and abuse of all animals and to end the devastating pet overpopulation through spay and neuter advocacy.

Dalmatian Rescue of Puget Sound is a network of people who are passionate about Dalmatians. Our mission is to get them out of shelters where they run the risk of being euthanized. We work with shelters and rescue groups, not just in the Pacific Northwest, but around the country. We bring them into our homes, and give them the loving care they deserve. When we can’t take them into our homes, we look for people who can. We look for ways to get them needed medical care, even if it means we pay for it ourselves.

We rescue one to two dogs at a time, mostly from local Shelters, animals in K2, some owner surrenders.
