Our mission is to provide animals with loving care and lasting homes, to partner with communities striving to do the same, and to advance our no-kill legacy. We accomplish our mission by transferring cats and dogs to our facilities from public shelters in the Bay Area and beyond when they are in danger of being euthanized due to space or financial limitations. Pets In Need has shelters in Redwood City and Palo Alto. We have owned and operated our Redwood City shelter since 1993, and in 2019 we began operating the Palo Alto Animal Shelter in partnership with the City of Palo Alto.

We are dedicated to providing a safe landing for any abused, neglected, special needs, or homeless domestic or farm animal in need. We aim to provide the highest level of medical care and love to each animal for the rest of their lives. There are so many animals in need and we are grateful to be able to help as many as we can.

Established in 2007, Beyond Nine Cat Rescue, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We’re an all-volunteer group of individuals dedicated to allowing cats to live safe, healthy and happy lives. We do not accept euthanasia as a solution to treatable medical conditions or as a means of population control for animals. Our goal is to see that no cat goes without food, shelter and medical care; that every cat is spayed or neutered and that as many cats as possible find loving forever homes – no matter how long it takes.

The purpose of our organization is to improve the lives of stray, abandoned and displaced cats and kittens in upstate SC. Through our in-home foster program, we will provide medical care and supplies, community TNR programs and on-site adoptions.

At Beacon of Hope Animal Rescue, every animal is valued and deserves a loving, permanent home. With dedication, care, and tireless effort, we commit to doing everything in our power to ensure this becomes a reality. We devote innumerable hours each day to assist as many animals as we can, both physically and emotionally. Support our mission by considering adoption.

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats. We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments. Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. We have a monthly pet pantry, provide temporary fostering for emergency situations, have a Senior pets for Seniors program, and more.

SOS tries to rescue & rehome abandoned kittens/cats throughout Texas due to over population from cats/kittens not being spayed/neutered. SOS works with other rescues to assist in placing in foster care until they can be adopted. SOS does participate in TNR when necessary but prefer to socialize and then place in a good home. SOS offers "comfort kitties" to those needing emotional support. Any applicant that currently has an ESA from a medical doctor is paired up w/a comfort kitty that matches their requirements. SOS takes great pride in offering this to our applicants.

Paws of Love, Inc. is a new, community-driven initiative that is working not only to restore faith in animal welfare in Lawrence County, but to provide a beacon of hope for abandoned and neglected animals. This group of volunteers is passionate about filling the void left in our community when we found ourselves without a local animal rescue group. At Paws of Love, Inc., our mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals through shelter, adoption, transport, education, and advocacy. Would you like to help us? Please adopt! The building that we are using to shelter the animals left to us is in need of extensive repairs and renovations that can best be done in an empty building. As such, our biggest need is to find good, forever homes for the dogs in our care. If you have room in your heart and your home, adoptions are our most fervent wish right now. Sadly, until necessary building repairs can be made, we cannot accept any additional animals. We are only staffed by volunteers right now, with irregular hours, but if you would like to meet our precious dogs, please let us know, and we will make arrangements to meet you. Please give!
