Dutch Shepherd

Mission Statemet Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc. (MAD) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which is dedicated to rescuing Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds who have found themselves without a home (surrendered, discarded, abused, neglected or impounded). MAD does not have a physical location and is operated by compassionate, like-minded professionals who volunteer their time and resources to help save and care for the Malinois and Dutch Shepherds. All animals that are accepted by MAD are spayed or neutered, given medical attention and rehabilitation, as needed, and placed with foster homes until their health and evaluations are completed and they are ready to be placed in their loving permanent homes.

Devore Animal Shelter is operated by San Bernardino County Animal Care and Control.

Our Underdog Rescue Squad is a group of a few people committed to rescuing and/or providing assistance to domestic animals in the Southern California area. After working with a couple of rescues over the years, we decided to get our own non profit status and work on a saving/providing better futures for a few dogs at a time.

Our mission statement: o Tracy Animal Services is here to keep our community safe, to provide care to any animal in need, to support the community as a source of education and guidance, encourage spay and neutering and ultimately find homes for all adoptable, treatable, and manageable animals.

Our founder, Lisa Biel, started this rescue early 2019 working with Mexico rescue groups to rehome the far too many stray dogs. Prior to this group, she was transporting and fostering for many of San Diego groups and saw a need for a rescue group.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 No Kill shelter which receives no funding from Mower County, the City of Austin MN (shelter location) or the state. All funding is through adoption fees, donations and fundraisers. All funding goes to care of animals, zero payroll. We work with local law enforcement and the city pound so that no animals are euthanized once their hold time expires and they are unclaimed. Our average population runs about 30 dogs and 130 cats. In addition to rescuing and sheltering animals, we partner with local vet to sponsor periodic reduced cost spay/neuter clinics, and six times per year we host an on site visit of the MNSnap.org mobile surgical vet unit which provides reduced cost spay/neuters. We are small in numbers , but huge in heart and dedication.

I am a 53 year old woman who has rescued animals all of my life. As a child i constantly picked up strays to re-home. This continued into my adult life. I rescued my first dog from a fight ring and drug house in 2013. Samson was the first dog i owned in 14 years. He was also the best dog I ever owned. Samson was a mastiff/shar-pei mix. His brother Memphis came along in a couple of months. In 2016 Samson was poisoned. I spent every day and over 2,000 dollars trying to save him. By the time we figured out what was going on. It was too late. I began to educate myself on dog poisoning and breed selection. Samson never hurt anyone. This led me to the world of animal rescues. Though I know i will never have Samson back on earth. If I can save one dog and educate people about breed selection and dog poisoning. Then I feel as if Samson would be proud.

Doggie Bonez, Inc. Rescue has had a successful 2017.  We have found homes for over 150 dogs just this year alone, and over 1000 in total from inception. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters, backyard breeders, abandonment and more.  Our team has grown and we thank all of our volunteers who have made this possible.  Doggie Bonez is a non-profit 501(c)(3), no-kill, volunteer dog rescue organization. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs that are left homeless and abandoned. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters, backyard breeders, hoarding situations, neglect, abandonment and much more. Founded in 2011 after seeing countless family pets being surrendered to kill shelters or thrown to the streets we felt the community needed a retention program offering free pet food to spayed and neutered pets, assistance with the surgeries and education about responsible pet ownership. We began to distribute free pet food to the community. Once we had a standing in the community helping pet parents we began to help the medically at risk dogs at our local kill shelter beginning in 2015. We pull Heartworm positive dogs and dogs with serious medical or behavior ailments as we believe they deserve just as much a chance at life as the perfectly healthy and adoptable ones at the shelter.
