Paws 4 You Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer, donor-supported animal rescue organization based in Miami, Florida. Our top priority is to save animals from euthanasia at Miami-Dade Animal Services. On average 100 animals are euthanized every day at this county shelter! Rescued animals vary from being sick, injured, homeless and surrendered to simply lost. We give these animals a safe environment, professional medical care, hope and lots of love. Our animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and ID micro-chipped. Some require major surgery from a specialist to repair broken limbs while others may need additional rehabilitation time and specific medical care - ranging from bordetella (kennel cough) and skin infections to cherry eye and heartworm treatments. All benefit physically and emotionally from a new loving family to call his or her own. Once Paws 4 You Rescue commits to helping an animal, we seek the best quality treatment available - taking no shortcuts. Our dogs stay at veterinary clinics, boarding facilities and foster homes until they find their forever homes. We spend time taking our new friends to different events across South Florida to find suitable homes. Our team is compassionate and passionate in reaching these goals. We are a group of professional people with various backgrounds, who together have decided to commit to saving as many of these animals as possible. Additionally, we believe in the value of education pertaining to the importance of spaying and neutering. Pet overpopulation is a serious problem in our county and by sterilizing your pet, you help to relieve the strain on Miami-Dade Animal Services and our community.

Columbia Humane Society is a No-Kill non-profit shelter dedicated to helping friends find each other since 1985. We are a non-profit independent organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for companion animals. We are supported solely by shelter income, our group fundraising efforts, and donations.

The seed for The Barking Lot was planted a few years back when I took in my first foster dog, Patti Cake, in hopes of making a bigger impact by helping my favorite furry friends. Before I knew it, I was put on some rescue email list and received an email stating, "This dog to be put down on Tuesday at 3pm". I was utterly horrified and jumped into action figuring out how I could save her. Well, I did and I'm glad to report Raspberry (my nephew named her!) is living happily in Encinitas to this day! After getting her adopted, I thought, "That wasn't so tough." And so it goes...over 900 dogs adopted into loving home and 3 years later...we have The Barking Lot. As well as being wonderful companions, dogs are amazing teachers and we've learned so much from them...first and foremost that they all deserve a chance at a better life and their behavior will balance beautifully if their needs are meet and good leadership is applied. These pups will be the most grateful creatures you've encountered. We rescue our furry friends from area shelters, humane societies and Mexico as they are at risk of being euthanized and/or abandoned. We are a small organization with a handful of key volunteers and we are just getting started as a 501c3 non-profit, so we're looking for more volunteers to add to the fun and reward! 2nd Chance Dog Rescue saves dogs that otherwise would be left on the streets to fend for themselves or brought to the pound and most likely placed on the E-List. Our dogs are extremely loving and deserve a place to call home.

We are a group orvolunteers who strive to get unwanted pets into forever homes. We concentrate on the smaller dogs and the young pups as that seems to be what our current fosters can take at the moment. Of course new foster are always welcome so we can further our variation of animals that we rescue.

We are a foster based dog rescue. We take owner surrenders or dogs from kill shelters and keep them with foster families until adoption

We've done rescue for 15 yrs, 501(c)(3) for 12 yrs. We love dogs and try to find the most stable, loving homes possible. We believe in quality of adoptions, not quantity. In other words, each adoption is a lengthy process and applicants are screened to the best of our ability. Dogs are thoroughly vetted and groomed before they are adopted.
