We are an all-volunteer, foster home based, dachshund dog rescue organization based in Central Florida, although we do work in other states as fosters become available. We do not have a physical shelter. Instead, we operate primarily through our foster homes, online databases such as Facebook and other social media, and at adoption events/expos. We are committed to providing the dogs that come into Dachshund Seeking Forever Homes Rescue with the best possible care while they wait for their forever homes by providing love, socialization, and the appropriate veterinary care needed. We do it because we love dogs in general and Dachshunds in particular!

Based in Tampa, Fla., SBDR's mission is to help with the rehoming of displaced Large Breed dogs throughout the Southeast. Looking to adopt a Large Breed dog? We work to provide ongoing education regarding responsible dog ownership and care. The adoptable dogs of SBDR live in foster homes, not a shelter. Our intent is to match every adoptable dog with the best home possible, based first and foremost on the dog's needs. SBDR is a registered non-profit with the state of Florida and a 501(c)3 charity, based in Tampa, Fla. Donations are tax-deductible and always appreciated. Lori and myself work together as board members decide in what's best interest for each animal adopted. We are looking for foreverl Loving ,Safe homes not temporary. We are looking for fenced in yards homes, and other ways to get exercise to help them continue to socialize with humans & other dogs. We do what we do for Gods Creatures need us to watch over them and be there eyes & ears exspecially there voice. We are always needing Donations & Sponsorship to keep all our animals vet needs going all food, grain needs , month preventives. It takes a Army to provide each animal needs.
