Metro Animal Services has 6 Officers, 5 Kennel Staff, 1 Metro Animal Services, Supervisor and 1 Metro Animal Services Manager. The shelter is open 7 days a week and Officers are available from 7:00am to 8:00pm. The officers handle running at large, injured animals, dangerous animal, animal bites, agency assist, animal welfare and animal cruelty investigations. Our Animal Protection Officers may issue citations for any animal violations. Any animal that is picked up is housed at Metro Animal Services Shelter where it is attended to and cleaned daily by our kennel staff. Our Kennel staff with work the front office when open processing adoptions, returning animals to owners, selling license, etc...

Founded in 1998, the Chama Valley Humane Society is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization supported entirely through fundraising, private donations, and grants. Our mission is to provide no-kill solutions to reduce the population of homeless cats and dogs by sponsoring a spay and neuter program for companion pets and feral cats, working with regional shelters and foster homes to rehabilitate and rehome animals, and educating those in the community we serve about responsible pet ownership. We serve a 600 square mile area of northern Rio Arriba County, New Mexico. We do not have a shelter, but we try to take in all animals we can from the Village of Chama holding facility as well as strays and unwanted animals throughout our region. All rescued animals are fostered locally until they can be adopted or transferred to no- or low-kill shelters or rescues. In addition to rescue and foster, we support the following programs: • A low-cost spay-neuter program for community pet owners • An Angel Fund to help pet owners pay for unexpected veterinarian bills through a no-interest revolving loan • WAG ‘n READ - A Reading Education and Assistance Dogs® program that works in our local schools to strengthen the animal-human bond while enhancing the reading experience for children

Chesapeake Bay Retriever Relief & Rescue in the Southwest Region rescues homeless Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and Chessie mixes and rehomes them into new loving homes. Our volunteers love the breed and are committed to saving all we can, including ones with special needs.

Pathways Home Animal Rescue finds great new homes for shelter, owner surrender, and stray animals found in the Phoenix, Arizona area. We are dedicated to caring for all homeless pets in our care and are an all foster based volunteer organization. Everyone who helps foster, volunteer, and organize our rescue believes that the focus of our group is the pet needing to find the best home. Maricopa county is number 2 in the nation for numbers of animals through our animal control shelters and in desperate need of public education, spay/neuter/vaccination assistance, and adoption of homeless pets.

I have been in cat rescue and trap/neuter/return work for over 10 years. CAFA also advocates for all pets but particularly for cats/kittens. CAFA takes cats/kittens that have been abandoned, gets them vaccinated and fixed and gets them adopted into good homes

Volunteers whose goal is to care for the sheltered animals at Campbell County Animal Control, to support the ACO's who work there, and to assist residents of Campbell County with training questions, and act as a resource for rehoming pets, or offer other options.

Arkanpaws Animal Rescue is a group of volunteers who are passionate about helping homeless animals through rescuing, fostering, vetting, and rehabilitating, and then finally finding them loving “fur-ever” homes. We’re located in central Arkansas, however, transport is available to most states. We arrange transport for dogs adopted into homes in New England every week. Most of our animals currently reside in foster homes in the central Arkansas area. ArkanPaws is committed to building a community of devoted pet families and helping facilitate greater networking and services for pet owners. We want to educate people about why it is so important to spay and neuter animals as a solution to ending the huge problem of pet overpopulation. Too many beautiful, healthy, adoptable pets are dying needlessly every day as a result of that overpopulation. We are developing a network of volunteer and foster families, and helping to spread the word about spay/neuter discount programs available, and other pet related information. Knowledge is power, and the power to evoke a positive change in the community is a beautiful thing indeed! Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue with a basic mission: giving animals that are in danger of euthanasia a second chance by placing them in foster homes while recruiting adoptive families on their behalf. The animals may be in over crowded or poorly funded county shelters and pounds in big cities or rural areas.

The mission of Town Cats is to enrich the lives of free-roaming, feral, or abandoned cats in the Ocean City, Md and surrounding communities by limiting the population growth and providing medical care through Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR), and affordable adoption services. Town Cats was organized in 1998 in order to address the feral cat population of Ocean City, Maryland. When they went home in the fall, many summer visitors would leave behind the cats they had been feeding all summer to face the winter without food or shelter. Those that survived would inevitably breed in the spring, producing litters of feral kittens that would eventually produce more unwanted kittens. Something had to be done to stop the litters and so Town Cats was born to spay/neuter/vaccinate the feral cats of Ocean City.

We are a 100% volunteer-run organization. We rescue ACDs from shelters where they are facing euthanasia, transport them to foster homes, care for their medical needs, and find them loving homes.
